United missing their usual zip, Jesse Lingard finds the ball in the final third and holds on to it so long that the Norwich players can regather.

The England international recycles the ball the strikes over from Juan Mata's lay-off.

I know there are no fans in the ground, but it's disappointing that nobody seems to have made a cardboard and tinfoil FA Cup for this match. A cup tie just isn't the same without one!

It was started by Todd Cantwell - Norwich's left hand side has caused problems for Manchester United. It was finding the bottom corner and it is a vital block by Harry Maguire.

Norwich are growing in confidence because United just haven't been at the races and they are just finding more and more and they might surprise themselves.

Cantwell shoots over the bar as Norwich apply pressure

First big chance of the game...goes to Norwich.

Todd Cantwell is really lively and breaks into the box, then has the composure to find Lukas Rupp with a pass.

Rupp takes a touch and drives a low shot which is blocked by Harry Maguire.

Luke Shaw then puts a foot on Emiliano Buendia's follow up before Cantwell blazes over.

Norwich's best spell of the game.

LD: All Norwich are missing is a a bit more ruthlessness in the last 1/3. Play some right football. They'll get dismantled in the summer but they must keep Farke.

    Norwich 0-0 Man Utd

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's been a very similar pattern since the kick-off. United are dominating the possession - if they give the ball away you know they'll soon get it back.

It's not been convincing at all from Manchester United. They look a little bit lost at times when they get the ball in the final third.

Sometimes when you put a different group of players together it can take a little bit of time to gel and can stem the run of good performances.

That's why sometimes it's better to do things the other way round and start with your best team and get the job done.

Oooh, Norwich have a two on one with United.

Todd Cantwell feeds the ball past Eric Bailly for Teemu Pukki to run on to.

The Finn has a long way to go and Luke Shaw shows a brilliant burst of pace to get back and snuff the danger.

Juan Mata was complaining there, thinking he should have a free-kick. Kenny McLean was looking for who he could pass to, but there wasn't any options so he decided to have a go. But again Norwich got some more joy out of the press that they've been doing.

    A SHOT, FINALLY!

It comes from Norwich man Kenny McLean, who picks the ball up quite deep and with no United man engaging, just keeps running.

But then he gets a rush of blood and slices his left-footed shot way over.

    Alan Shearer
Former England captain on BBC One

There's been nowhere near enough goalmouth action from both teams. Norwich haven't been prepared to commit men forward - which is understandable I suppose, they want to stay in the game. Apart from one or two forward balls from Bruno Fernandes I've been disappointed with United going forward.
