    Leciester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

Leicester City are the only club left in the competition yet to win the FA Cup.

If they get to the final, it will be the first time since 1969, when they lost 1-0 to Manchester City. They last reached the semi-finals in 1982.

Joe Cole has just said on BT Sport that Frank Lampard is probably the greatest player to play for Chelsea.

Discuss? Didier Drogba came to mind for me straight away but Lampard is a decent shout!

  3. 'It would be a massive step'published at 15:48 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers speaking to BT Sport: "It would be a massive step [to reach the semi-finals]. We have put everything into the cup competitions. Tough game for us today but we really want to get into that semi-final.

"They [the Leicester players] were disappointed after the League Cup defeat. It's a team that's very hungry to do well and hopefully we can get that result today.

On his team selection: "I think with the games all coming close together, it's just to keep some freshness in the team. James Maddison is obviously injured. Offensively we just tried to freshen it up to bring some energy into the team.

"They [Chelsea] have outstanding players and got a very good result in the week and they will look to take that form into the game today. Hopefully we casn make the next step today and get the win."

  4. Are there replays?published at 15:46 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

Nope. Not at this stage of the competition.

If this finishes level after 90 minutes, there will be an additional 30 minutes of extra time.

A penalty shootout will decide the winner if it's still level after 120 minutes.

  5. 'Consistency has been an issue'published at 15:43 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard speaking to BT Sport: "It was a good night for us [in the victory over Manchester City on Thursday]. We worked hard in the camp and were organised and disciplined. Consistency at times this season has been an issue. We need to bottle up what we did the other night and use it.

"There are players that are training at a level that they can be disappointed not to start those two games. We need to use our squad.

"[Billy Gilmour] is one of those players who finished so brilliantly before lockdown, trains well every day and he gets his opportunity today.

"We have to worry about ourselves. Leicester are a very strong team and with the quality they have, they can trouble anyone."

  8. 'We don't like losing'published at 15:35 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    FT: Sheffield United 1-2 Arsenal

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder, speaking to BBC Sport: "That performance was better than the last two. It was more of a Sheffield United display. We don't like losing as professionals and we have gone out the competition. We're disappointed in their winner. I thought momentum was with us. Few things didn't go for us. The disallowed goal and then their penalty. Rash from Bash (Chris Basham). We lacked that bit of confidence, which happens when you lose two games 3-0. We have good players who maybe need to believe in themselves a bit more.

"It is our manner to go for it and we felt we had them on the ropes. They have incredible pace at the top of the pitch with great moment but we were aggressive and played in their half. Sometimes you have to go back to basics and we were a bit more direct but it worked. We just need a bit more quality when the bullets are flying about, to turn a one-goal deficit into a 1-1 and them maybe 2-1. But we allowed them to counter on us, which is one of their strengths.

"For us to get into this position, we have to show character. There are players who are hurting at the moment. We have had a great run and expectation has gone through the roof. Perhaps what we should have done is lose a few games at Christmas and be bottom and then win one and people would pat us on the back. But I didn't really want to take that approach!"

Just hearing that midfielder James Maddison has picked up a knock so that's why he's not in the squad for Leicester today.

    Big blow.

  10. 'Willian most experienced player today'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Willian is the most experienced player within the squad and who is arguably been at the club for the longest period as to why he's been made captain today.

There is no doubt that Frank Lampard likes Willian and respects him as a player. I think the situation with Chelsea is that once you get to a certain age, you're then given one year contract - and Willian wants a little bit longer. He feels he deserves that little bit longer.

But I don’t think they’re going to change the policy just for him, I’d be very surprised if they did. He has the right to want longer and if he can get that somewhere else, then that might be a possibility for him. I think Frank will use him as much as he can before the end of his contract.

  11. What are Chelsea's chances?published at 15:30 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

Chelsea like this competition. They have won it eight times and the last time they played in the quarter-finals, they beat today's opponents Leicester after extra time.

They went on to win it that year too - beating Manchester United in the final.

But would it be even more special for Frank Lampard to win it as a manager? If they go all the way, it would be his first domestic trophy in his first season in charge.

The good news? Chelsea have lost only two of their past 20 games against Leicester in all competitions.

The bad news? They haven't won any of the last four against them (drawn 3, lost 1).

  12. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

What do you make of Frank Lampard's team selection? Lots of changes - six to be exact.

He's got the experience of NGolo Kante and Willian in there, but otherwise it's quite youthful. A good opportunity for Billy Gilmour and Reece James.

It's a strong Leicester team but they will miss James Maddison.

  14. 'Great opportunity to win a title'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    FT: Sheffield United 1-2 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, speaking to BBC Sport: "I am really pleased. This is a difficult place to come and get a win. We are back at Wembley. I am really happy with the attitude and performance of the players.

"It is a great opportunity to try and win a title and play in Europe. We have played four away games since the restart. Thank you to the Premier League for our calendar playing every three days. But we go again on Wednesday.

"I knew Sheffield United were going to have moments. They are so good at their game plans and putting teams under pressure. We conceded form a long throw which is so hard to defend. But we were able to win the game."

    Leicester v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

BBC Sport chief football writer at The King Power Stadium

The rules on social distancing mean that referee Mike Dean is giving his pre-match instructions to respective captains Kasper Schmeichel of Leicester City and Chelsea's Willian at pitchside before this FA Cup quarter-final.

Not quite "break when I say so and I expect a good clean fight" but there seemed plenty for the pair to take in before they made a very amicable departure.

  20. 'We didn't give up'published at 15:12 British Summer Time 28 June 2020

    Sheffield United 1-2 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi, speaking to BT Sport: "Normally I think before we conceded there is the moment we have to kill the game. But we didn't and conceded. But it shows character. It helps the team to get back confidence. Today we didn't give up, even when they equalised. You have to prepare for extra-time but got rewarded.

Sometimes you have to see what the opponent does. There were a lot of long balls. It is not always easy to find solutions. This team believes in how we want to play football and tries things even when it doesn't look as good as it should. We have to believe in the process."

On team-mate David Luiz, who has struggled with form recently: "At the end of the day we are human beings and make mistakes. As a defender life is not always easy but he is experienced enough and is a fantastic team-mate. For me he is a big personality and I am happy to have him on the team."
