Frantic, I think is the word for the play right now. Crosses being pinged across the field, quick passing and lots of noise coming from those fortunate to be inside Wembley right now.

Is the heavy rain playing its part? The conditions could be key to how this game is seen out.

It's absolutely teeming down with rain now at Wembley and the steamy and sticky conditions pre-match suggested as much.

Is this going to be the rain that washes away Oxford's hopes of a return to the Championship or will it open it up for another mistake or two as Wycombe get nervous towards the end?

Marco: Why, oh why did Henry not shoot? I was nearly popping the champers.

Nearly being the key word Marco, nearly. What a big moment that looks like now!

Are Wycombe 10 minutes away from a historic promotion?

Joe Jacobson thumps his penalty straight down the middle with sensational composure.

Simon Eastwood dives to his left and looks distraught.

    DRAMA AT WEMBLEY.

Oxford keeper Simon Eastwood has absolutely FLATTENED Fred Onyadinma and the Chairboys win a spot-kick.

If this were Looney Tunes, they'd be peeling Onyadinma off the turf.

Been a brilliant watch this second half so far.

Lots and lots of tension and edginess evident, but also some real quality too as the game gets a bit more stretched.

Those lucky enough to be inside the ground of a Wycombe persuasion can sense that as they try to get the odd chant going from the normally sedate Club Wembley seats on the halfway line.

Me: This match has turned into a pretty decent passing game and there's some creditable attacking and defending from both sides that is certainly adding to a tense and entertaining finale.

Also me: G'wan lads, have a crack from the halfway line if you feel like it!

Curtis Thompson, who's not been on the field long, goes into the book for a rash challenge on Oxford's Liam Kelly.

Oxford win a free-kick as a result deep in the Wycombe half which is played to Sam Long who can't poke the ball back into the box before it travels out for a goal kick.

The match has certainly turned in Oxford's favour in the past 10 minutes or so.

A James Henry free-kick sees Robert Dickie force Wycombe keeper Ryan Allsop into spilling his header away for a corner.

The corner then sails into the box and Dickie almost finds the net were it not for a tremendous Allsop diving save.

Anthony Stewart again to the rescue for Wycombe and he also got away with that one after James Henry opted to play through to Matty Taylor.

Should've been given as a corner to Oxford to spare Taylor's blushes as everyone inside the ground thought he'd missed a sitter until we saw a replay that showed the slightest of touches from Stewart's boot to intercept it from his path.

My word how have Oxford not taken the lead there?!

James Henry runs on to the ball in acres of space in the Wycombe box and decides not to go for goal and instead tries to play in Matty Taylor for a tap-in. But rather than nestling in the net, the ball somehow squirms wide.
