Roger: Never mind all that "went in off the GK's boot". It's the attacker's goal.

    Wycombe certainly don't care, Roger.

    Oxford 0-1 Wycombe

Oxford win their first corner of the match as they do well to put the Wycombe back line under some pressure, forcing Nnamdi Ofoborh to put the ball out of play.

It's put into the box and Wycombe keeper Ryan Allsop gets a fingertip to it to clear the danger.

    Oxford 0-1 Wycombe

Another Wycombe corner and Joe Jacobson stands over it once more. Will we see a repeat of their goal from earlier?

Well almost. He launches the ball to the back post and Fred Onyadinma tries to get onto it but Oxford do well to clear it away.

The first booking of this match goes to Alex Rodriguez who puts in a pretty rash challenge on Wycombe's Alex Samuel.

A free-kick to the Chairboys midway through the Oxford half awaits but it comes to nothing as the U's eventually win the ball back.

Quite measured and concise messages put across there by both managers during that drinks break.

No loud shouting or wild gesticulating with the arms and hands. Just calm conversation.

Both sides know they'll have to grit this one out and be patient despite Wycombe having the lead.

Andy King: Got up at 4.30am in Sydney to follow my lifelong team Oxford United at Wembley. Not going to plan at the moment...

Good to have you with us all the way from Oz, Andy. Chin up, there's still a long way to go yet.

Chances at either end in what it shaping up to be a frantic half of football at Wembley.

Firstly, Fred Onyadinma curls towards the Oxford goal and Simon Eastwood eventually collects the ball after spilling it at first attempt.

Then at the other end, Oxford break quickly and Sam Long fires just wide of the mark.

At the other end of the field, Oxford do well to work the ball goalbound and James Henry puts a decent ball in towards Matty Taylor.

Taylor valiantly attempts to head it down in the box to set one of his team-mates up but unfortunately for the Oxford striker, no one is there to latch on to it.

Having seen a replay of the goal, as Adam says, that Wycombe goal might go down as a Simon Eastwood own goal.

As he attempts to save Anthony Stewart's header, the ball appeared to deflect off his trailing foot as he went to ground.

How do you respond to going a goal down at Wembley? That's the question Oxford will be asking themselves after Anthony Stewart headed Wycombe into the lead.

Fortunately for Karl Robinson's side, they've got the best part of 80 minutes to get themselves back into this game. But that is not the kind of start you want in a play-off final.

Joe Jacobson once again proving a nightmare for defences with the whip and swerve he gets on those corners.

First corner of the game and Oxford had no answer to the danger. Clearly they didn't watch enough of those videos from the semi-final against Fleetwood.

Last touch from Anthony Stewart's header also came off an Oxford player it seems.

May well have actually been goalkeeper Simon Eastwood's leg.

    ADVANTAGE WYCOMBE.

Anthony Stewart rises high at the far post to head home from Joe Jacobson's corner.

This is huge. Could this be the Chairboys' first step in reaching English football's second tier for the first time in their history?

The contrast in styles and approaches that have got these two teams to this final evident within the first six minutes.

Oxford more than comfortable at knocking it around and playing it on the floor, Wycombe not afraid to get the ball up top as quickly as possible.

Wycombe get this League One play-off final going at an empty Wembley soon after both sides take a knee in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

The Chairboys are wearing their traditional blue and are attacking the goal to the right of the television gantry. Oxford are wearing their white this evening.
