That's your lot from us in here tonight.

Brentford kept their automatic promotion hopes alive with a 1-0 win over Preston that moved them to one point off second-placed West Brom.

Nottingham Forest were unable to confirm their place in the play-off as they drew an entertaining game 2-2 with Swansea.

Bristol City and Stoke played out a 1-1 draw that does little for the Robins' play-off hopes but moved the Potters further clear of relegation danger.

Speaking of relegation danger, a late, late equaliser from Lukas Jutkiewicz moved Birmingham five points clear of the bottom three and left Charlton just two ahead of the bottom three.

We'll be back at 16:40 BST tomorrow as league leaders Leeds look to take another big step towards the Premier League when they host bottom side Barnsley.

Thanks for your company and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Here's how things stand at the bottom after that late twist at St Andrew's.

Charlton face in-form Wigan and league leaders Leeds in their final two games.

  3. FT: Birmingham 1-1 Charltonpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 15 July 2020

Managerless Birmingham aren't safe yet, but their late, late equaliser puts them five points clear of the bottom three, with just two games to go. That looks likely to be enough for survival, with Huddersfield and Charlton in between them and the drop zone. The Blues are up to 50 points along with Middlesbrough and Stoke, although the West Midlands side have the worst goal-difference of those sides.

As for Lee Bowyer's Addicks, they stay 21st but edge two points clear of 22nd-placed Hull, with a much better goal-difference than the Tigers.

But they know, if they could have held on, they would have gone above Birmingham. Agonising for them.

A good game at the City Ground ends with a point apiece.

Rhian Brewster gave the visitors an early lead before Sammy Ameobi levelled for the hosts.

Andre Ayew put the visitors back in front with a penalty just before the break only for Ameobi to level once more.

A win would have confirmed Forest's place in the play-offs but they're almost there anyway.

Swansea are eighth, three points off sixth-placed Cardiff.

It ends 1-1. Devastating for Charlton, who were so close to winning it, but that late Birmingham goal will have a big impact on the bottom six.

    Birmingham 1-1 Charlton

There's still time for one of these sides to win this, and the hosts are giving it a go. Birmingham are committing men forward. Charlton are defending for their lives now. A point would still aid their bid to stay up.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 15 July 2020

    Nott'm Forest 2-2 Swansea

Really naughty challenge from Swansea sub George Byers gives Forest a free-kick 30 yards out and earns him a booking.

    Forest waste the set piece.

GOAL: Birmingham 1-1 Charltonpublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 15 July 2020

    Lukas Jutkiewicz (90+3 mins)

Late drama! Could this be the goal to keep Birmingham City up?

The 17-year-old Jude Bellingham creates it, crossing in from the left. Harlee Dean's first effort is saved and then Lukas Jutkiewicz bundles in on the rebound. And the home players roar with relief as they celebrate!

Charlton were four minutes of added time away from a priceless win.

    Nott'm Forest 2-2 Swansea

Forest sub Alex Mighten does well to get to the byline and cut it back.

It comes to former Arsenal man Carl Jenkinson on the edge of the area, a man not know for his goalscoring prowess...

And with good reason. Very wide.

Adama Diakhaby is on for Ryan Yates for the hosts.

Horrible challenge from Kyle Naughton is rightly punished with a red card.

The Swans full-back stops Alex Mighten breaking away with a nasty stamp on the youngster's Achilles.

  17. Postpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 15 July 2020

    Birmingham 0-1 Charlton

Before tonight, Birmingham had gone 11 league games without a win and 12 in all competitions.

If it stays like this, it'd be their fifth straight defeat.

Their fans will be getting more and more nervous of the prospect of relegation, as this game enters the final seven minutes of the 90.

So close to a Swansea third!

Andre Ayew brings the ball down six yards from goal and goes to poke it in, Forest keeper Brice Samba goes to clear it with his feet and the ball bounces off the keeper and then off Ayew and goes wide.
