Preston move the ball around really well down their right before feeding the ball into Ryan Ledson in the area.

He can't make clean contact though and David Raya collects easily.

At the other end Said Benrahma is in the book for Brentford for a pretty pathetic dive 20 yards from goal.

Bees forrward Bryan Mbeumo digs out a wonderful switch of play for Said Benrahma but he can't bring it under his control.

Moments later another home attack ends with Ollie Watkins overhitting a deep cross looking for the run of Mbeumo.

Brentford looking ore and more threatening now.

Stoke go inches from an equaliser, but Nick Powell's left-footed drive from inside the area hits the far post.

Moments earlier, the hosts' Jamie Paterson got the game's first yellow card for a foul on Powell.

You could forgive some Brentford nerves the longer this goes on as it is.

A win here will close the gap on second-placed West Brom to one point with two games to play and give them an eighth successive win.

Said Benrahma finds space between the lines and slips in goalscorer Ollie Watkins but this time he can only lash over from 18 yards.

Despite Birmingham's bright start, it's suddenly almost 1-0 to Charlton down the other end, but Jonathan Williams heads narrowly off target from Josh Cullen's dangerous cross.

Great breakaway from the hosts ends with Bryan Mbeumo winning a free-kick right on the byline after a lovely bit of skill.

Just three points separate these two relegation-threatened teams, but a win for Birmingham would secure their survival.
