  1. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 3-0 Watfordpublished at 90+1 mins

    Ross Barkley

    Ruthless.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek holds the ball up well, spins and feeds in Christian Pulisic. He touches it on to Cesar Azpilicueta, who makes the overlapping run. The cross is cut back to Ross Barkley and he guides it into the back of the net.

Nigel Pearson throws a bottle of water to the ground in frustration.

  2. CLOSE!published at 90+1 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Danny Welbeck has done well since coming on. He drives along the backline, beats the full-back and cuts it back to Will Hughes.

Hughes is sliding to get there but Ruben Loftus-Cheek gets JUST enough on it to steer it past the far post.

  3. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Roberto Pereyra loses the ball in the middle. Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic are up in support but Ross Barkley's pass to Pulisic takes him too wide.

    Abraham wanted it. He's fuming!

  4. CLOSE!published at 88 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Callum Hudson-Odoi tees up Reece James, who curls it towards the back post for Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

It's on a plate for him but he heads it over the bar from a few yards out. He was completely unmarked! Big miss.

  5. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 86 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

That's so poor from Watford, who remain a point above the relegation zone and don't seem that bothered about pressing to win the ball back.

Chelsea are allowed to pass it through midfield with ease and Christian Pulisic dribbles his way into the box.

He's looking for a penalty too, but a check from VAR shows he's gone down too lightly under pressure from two defenders.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 83 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Roberto Pereyra has a late opportunity to boost Watford. He replaces Ismaila Sarr.

  7. Postpublished at 83 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Young Billy Gilmour was caught in possession again then. He's got a lot of talent, clearly, but his youth does show on occasions when he's not strong enough on the ball. That will come.

  8. CLOSE!published at 82 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

A few positive signs from Watford late on! It's slipped through to Danny Welbeck, who makes a good run in behind.

He tries to slot it past Kepa's right but the Chelsea stopper stretches to make the save.

  9. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Adam Masina takes it and beats the wall but it's a tame effort from about 25 yards out.

Kepa gathers it in comfortably on the bounce. That's two shots on target for Watford now and both have come from long-range efforts from substitute Masina.

  10. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Nice play from Will Hughes, who has been Watford's best player in my eyes. He shoves off the challenge of Billy Gilmour and tries to thread it through to Nathaniel Chalobah.

Hughes then wins a free-kick off Ross Barkley. He tries to take it quickly, with Chalobah in space, but the referee pulls it back.

  11. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Jorginho's seat on the bench is getting pretty warm isn't it?

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 77 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

N'Golo Kante might need to come off now. He's told Frank Lampard he needs to come off.

Chelsea quickly boot it out so they can make the change. That's a worry.

    Billy Gilmour is coming on.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 75 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham are all on for Chelsea in a triple substitution.

Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount and Willian are the ones to come off. All three have played well.

  14. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

A shot on target from Watford! Their first of the match and it's taken 74 minutes...

Adam Masina finds himself in space in the middle and has a go from long range. Never beating Kepa.

  15. CLOSE!published at 72 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

    That's more like it!

Ismaila Sarr gets some space on the right and whips a brilliant ball in towards Danny Welbeck.

He almost gets there at the front post but Andreas Christensen is sharp and pokes it behind.

  16. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Another drinks break as Olivier Giroud gestures to the Chelsea bench. Has he just felt his hamstring go a little?

Tammy Abraham has been sent to warm up.

  17. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Kurt Zouma meets the corner but his header is straight down the middle. Comfortable for Ben Foster.

  18. CLOSE!published at 68 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Willian fancies another. He cuts inside of Ismaila Sarr and curls one towards the bottom right corner.

Ben Foster scrambles across to make the save. Willian will take the corner.

  19. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Watford get a few crosses into the Chelsea box but there's not enough yellow shirts in there.

Chelsea have players back and Willian is able to bring it out before Ross Barkley swings it over to Kurt Zouma.

  20. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Looks like Nigel Pearson is looking ahead to Watford's next couple of games with that Troy Deeney substitution.

Meanwhile, Chelsea carry on as Ross Barkley's cross whips past Mason Mount a few yards out from goal.
