Paul: Teams who sit back and defend all game may as well just not bother turn up. This could end up 4 or 5 to Chelsea. Watford are abysmal.

    Chelsea 1-0 Watford

Watford are giving away too many free-kicks on the edge of the box. Chelsea haven't capitalised yet but they might if they keep getting these sorts of chances.

Mason Mount has a go this time but again, it hits the wall. Mount is appealing for a handball off Etienne Capoue but he doesn't get anything.

    Chelsea 1-0 Watford

Chelsea are starting to control the game now. Ross Barkley pings a lovely ball over to Willian.

He touches it down for Recce James, who puts a good cross into the middle for Olivier Giroud. Ben Foster has to punch it away, not very convincingly.

    Chelsea 1-0 Watford

Clumsy from Christian Kabasele, who waves an arm across Olivier Giroud's face.

The striker is dramatic about it but it's definitely a foul. Willian is eyeing the free-kick up...

    Into the wall. Again.

    Chelsea 1-0 Watford

Craig Dawson finds Kiko Femenia on the left. There's players in the box for Watford but the cross can't beat N'Golo Kante, who is in position on the edge to head it away.

Will Hughes puts in a decent challenge on Ross Barkley but every Watford player is behind the ball and Kurt Zouma can just switch it around the back again.

    Chelsea 1-0 Watford

Cesar Azpilicueta is in space on the left but his cross is just a little too high for Christian Pulisic, who does well to get anything on it.

He tries to loop it over Ben Foster but it's a comfortable save.

    Olivier Giroud

Err, yes is the answer to my question!

Mason Mount threads it through to Ross Barkley. He disguises the pass to Olivier Giroud in the box and the Frenchman slots it into the bottom corner with ease.

    Lovely goal!

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Frank Lampard has enjoyed these drinks breaks and they have usually helped Chelsea.

After getting off to a decent start, they have just dropped off a little in intensity in the last 10 minutes. Can they bring that back?

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Will Hughes gets away in space on the left as Watford break. He has to wait for support and his cross is headed away by Cesar Azplicueta.

Mason Mount doesn't get to the loose ball ahead of Etienne Capoue and brings him down.

It's a free-kick in a decent position but Nathaniel Chalobah boots it way over the bar. Nigel Pearson isn't too happy with that!

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Willian takes the free-kick but again it crashes straight into the wall. The rebound is poked back in by Ross Barkley but it's Abdoulaye Doucoure who gets it away.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 22 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Etienne Capoue comes sliding in to try and intercept the ball but ends up catching Olivier Giroud on the ankle.

He gets a yellow but VAR quickly check it to see if it's more severe. Surely not!?

Check complete = just a yellow. Phew!
