Decent hit from the new man, Anthony Gordon gets the ball out of his feet and then laces in a shot from 20 yards but it's easy for Hugo Lloris to field.

Gordon was an out-and-out left winger against Leicester but he's on the right at the moment.

Naughty from Moussa Sissoko, who just clumps Richarlison after a sharp turn from the Brazilian.

Anthony Gordon is coming on at the break for Everton. He was excellent against Leicester. He'll replace Alex Iwobi.

I have just seen it again, Hugo Lloris has ran a good 40 yards over to have a go at Son as he left the field. No idea what that can have been about.

Everton as an attacking force have been really disappointing, it has not been great from either side but Spurs have the lead.

Carlo Ancelotti has the thinking to do at half-time, these type of situations will suit Jose Mourinho, whose side can sit in and then play on the counter with the likes of Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura.

Of all the players I could imagine getting into a argument, Son would be a long way down the list.

I haven't seen that back so not sure what it was about or how it started.

There was a coming-together on the pitch between Hugo Lloris and Son Heung-min at the end of the half, there were fisticuffs.

I am surprised at the altercation, I don't know what it was over. Emotions are running high, it has been a poor season for Spurs.

At this moment in time, Spurs are not as together as everyone thinks.

The players have to take responsibility over the whole of the season under both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho, who they have regressed under.

It has not been as good as we would have expected.

Ah it seems that bust-up was between Hugo Lloris and Son, of all people!

What happened there? All of a sudden it kicks off as the players leave the field, the cameras didn't catch the start of that but Hugo Lloris was being held back by his teammates.

I'll let you know if they show that back.

  12. CLOSE!published at 45+4 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Everton

And that is really close! Everton's best chance of the half sees Richarlison run at a backtracking defence, crack in a shot from about 18-20 yards and it's flashed by the dive of Hugo Lloris. Just wide as well. He has his head in his hands.

  13. Postpublished at 45+3 mins

Apparently Everton have now scored 52 own goals in the Premier League, at least six more than any other team. Aston Villa are next on 46 in the Premier League era. They did both have Richard Dunne, after all.

We still haven't had a shot on target all night yet - after the goal was changed to an own goal.

Lucas bursts past Lucas Digne but his cross is well cut out for a Spurs corner.

Everton have not done enough going forward, they have not worked Hugo Lloris at all.

I think that probably counts as going early.

Don't want to go too early on this but Serge Aurier has defended well for Spurs so far tonight.

Better from Everton and Gylfi Sigurdsson, who works a yard of space on the left wing and puts in a very good-looking cross which Toby Alderweireld has to defend manfully.

Harry Kane lines up a free-kick for Spurs but can only flick the top of the wall as Tottenham look to double their lead before half-time. Son will take the corner - which Ben Davies puts over the top.

He soldiered on but Mason Holgate's day is done. Yerry Mina comes on in his place.
