He hits a crossfield ball first time which looks ambitious but nearly ends up being brilliant and Chelsea have to clear away for a corner.

Chelsea have been poor today, or have been made to play poorly anyway, but Christian Pulisic still catches the eye. He's a terrific player, jinking past Chris Basham before having the door slammed in his face.

Still nothing sticking up front for Chelsea at all. Sheffield United able to break up the attacks with ease so far.

This is a tough little spell for Brighton. They were naive early on against Liverpool on Wednesday - will their manager Graham Potter make the same mistake against Manchester City?

Yes, it's great to play out from the back but, against Liverpool, the Seagulls knew they were playing a team who press you so well, so why take so many chances? Maybe just concentrate on keeping it at 0-0 for the first 15 minutes or so, put the ball in the channels, and ensure you clear your lines properly until you see how the game is going.

Instead, they made it too easy for Liverpool, and I can see the same thing happening to them again against City. If they overdo it in their own half, they will play themselves into trouble.

And, once you've gifted these top teams a couple of goals, good luck getting back into the game.

David Howell: Why's Kepa the most expensive goalie in the world? Don't forget he was at Athletic Bilbao with their all-Basque recruitment policy, so they don't let go of their best players often unless they get comically overpaid - as indeed they were for Kepa.

Robert Hinchcliffe: Genuinely baffles me that Chelsea are breaking the bank on worldie attackers without doing anything about their awful defence.

Chelsea ending the half well - Reece James scoops up a cross to the far post and it's put out for a corner. That man McBurnie nuts it clear. Booossh.

That's better though from Chelsea, Reece James taking a touch to steady himself and then hit a rasping drive from a good 25-30 yards, it's powering in on target and Dean Henderson has to make a sharp save.

I think the absolute best thing about Oli McBurnie is that he doesn't look remotely like a footballer.

All power to him for that. He's made mincemeat of some very expensive defenders so far today.

We're not at half-time yet but Olivier Giroud is warming up very vigorously indeed. Tammy Abraham has barely had a touch up there.

Bresla Stephenson: McGoldrick hasnt scored all season. Takes him 20 minutes against this hopeless Chelsea defence.

Paul: Chelsea are rubbish. Them being 3rd says a lot about the quality of this league apart from Liverpool and Man City.

John: I know Chelsea are always bad at defending crosses but this is just woeful.

Frank Lampard is stewing on the sidelines, prowling up and down. His side are being given a lesson here by Sheffield United. So far, anyway.
