Phillip: I think every Everton supporter would agree that the squad - and especially the midfield - needs a major overhaul in the transfer window. We've spent fortunes on a host of mediocre talent. Hopefully Carlo has a plan and a shopping list.
Wolves v Everton (12:00 BST)
Wolves
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo speaking to Sky Sports: "We created a lot of situations [against Sheffield United] that required finishing the action. Bad positioning, bad psssing...something we have to improve.
"Daniel [Podence] is talented and he has quality. He is a good player. He can help the team.
"It's a tough schedule. We must look forward."

Molineux is looking beautiful today! The sun is out, the players are warming up and we're not too far away from kick-off now.
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (14:15 BST)
Aston Villa have picked up just two points in their last 10 Premier League matches (D2, L8), scoring just five times in total.
It is the current longest winless run in the competition.
They have let in 65 goals in the Premier League this season, the same tally they had conceded after 34 games when they were last relegated in 2015-16.
And they have conceded two or more goals 21 times in the Premier League in 2019-20.
Wolves v Everton (12:00 BST)
Will he get on the scoresheet again today?
Tottenham v Arsenal (16:30 BST)
Tottenham's Dele Alli has again been ruled out with the hamstring issue which has caused him to miss the last two matches.
Eric Dier serves the second match of his four-game suspension.
Arsenal have failed in their appeal against Eddie Nketiah's red card against Leicester, so he begins a three-match ban.
Calum Chambers, Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari and Gabriel Martinelli all remain on the sidelines.

Arise Sir Marcus Rashford: It’s an important Golden Boot this year for all the strikers because Mason Greenwood will be winning the next 10. Last chance for the rest.
Wolves v Everton (12:00 BST)
Wolves have had a bit of a hiccup with defeats in their past two matches, but they won't change the way they play.
I don't think they have suddenly hit a wall, even though their season started almost a full 12 months ago, in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League, so I'd be surprised if they were below par again here.
My main worry for Wolves would be about Adama Traore, who has dislocated his shoulder again - the fourth time it has gone since December.
Traore has played through the pain barrier before but I know from experience it is a horrible injury until you have an operation to sort it out - it happened to me three times in one season before I went for surgery.
But, whether or not Traore decides to carry on for now, I still think Nuno Espirito Santo's side will have enough quality to break Everton down.
The Toffees have improved a lot under Carlo Ancelotti, but Wolves are much further down the road than they are in terms of building a team that can crack the top six.
Prediction: 2-0
Raheem Sterling is scoring hat-tricks for fun, Danny Ings is Gareth Southgate's new best mate, Jamie Vardy is having a party, Mohamed Salah just won't go away and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is after number two.
The race for the Golden Boot is ON. Will Vardy and Aubameyang add to their tallies today?
Wolves v Everton (12:00 BST)
Wolves have lost their last two Premier League games, more defeats than they had sustained in their previous 11 matches.
They last lost three in a row in November 2018, while they could go three consecutive Premier League matches without scoring for the first time since April 2012.
However, Wolves are unbeaten in 16 of their last 18 matches against the teams in the bottom half of the table.
Everton have won just two of their last seven Premier League away games (D1, L4), with both victories coming against sides in the relegation zone.
But they have taken 26 points from 16 games under Carlo Ancelotti, having accrued 19 points from their opening 18 fixtures.
Tottenham v Arsenal (16:30 BST)
Remember the days when Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho used to declare war on each other in press conferences? Alex Ferguson would be delivering threats to Arsene Wenger?
Not any more. Roy Keane probably shouldn't watch this...
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (14:15 BST)
Aston Villa have no new injury concerns, with defender Bjorn Engels set to miss a seventh match with an Achilles injury.
Full-back Matt Targett is in contention to return after two games out with a hamstring problem.
Crystal Palace continue to have selection issues in defence, with Gary Cahill ruled out after injuring his hamstring against Chelsea.
James Tomkins is still sidelined but Martin Kelly is available.
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (14:15 BST)
Down at the bottom of the table it's a different story for Aston Villa. Norwich were relegated yesterday after being thrashed by Michail Antonio.
Villa won't want the same fate but time is running out. They need wins. Anything less and they're in big trouble.
An out-of-form Crystal Palace travel to Villa Park this afternoon so is this their chance? Bournemouth have got a tricky game against Leicester later.

The main focus today is on those European places. So much movement! But who will get Champions League football? Who will have to settle for the Europa League? And who will miss out altogether?

Good news! You can listen to commentary of all four of today's games on BBC Radio 5 Live. The dream.
Got it?
Manchester City - as things stand - are banned from European competitions, unless they win their appeal to Cas which they will find out about on Monday.
But because Leicester and Man Utd still have to play each other on the final day, City cannot finish any lower than fourth, therefore qualifying for the Champions League.
If the ban is upheld, fifth spot takes their place.
Leicester cannot guarantee a top-five spot today because they needed Wolves to lose AND Sheffield United & Arsenal both to fail to win but Chris Wilder's side beat Chelsea yesterday.
As the four FA Cup semi-finalists are all currently in the top eight, if Man City remain banned, the sixth, seventh and eighth-placed teams would all qualify for the Europa League.
But this could easily change if, for instance, Arsenal win the FA Cup but finish below eighth.
I'll explain in a minute what the permutations are for securing different European spots. It's a bit complicated!
But the aim is to get into that top five for a good chance of qualifying for Champions League football.
Leicester are currently in fourth, just a point above Manchester United, though they can extend that with a win later at Bournemouth.
Sheffield United gave themselves a boost with that victory over Chelsea yesterday but Wolves could overtake them if they beat Everton.
Arsenal and Tottenham are playing for more than bragging rights in the derby too - a win is a must if they want to keep up with the others.
Wolves v Everton (12:00 BST)
Wolves make three changes from the side beaten by Sheffield United. Adama Traore, who dislocated his shoulder at Bramall Lane, drops to the bench, with Pedro Neto taking his place.
Leander Dendoncker and Daniel Podence both start, with Joao Moutinho and Diego Jota joining Traore amongst the subs.
Wolves: Rui Patricio, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Doherty, Neves, Dendoncker, Jonny, Pedro Neto, Jimenez, Daniel Podence.
Subs: Bruno Jordao, Gibbs-White, Jota, Ruddy, Joao Moutinho, Ruben Vinagre, Traore, Kilman, Rasmussen.
Everton also make three changes. Leighton Baines starts in place of Seamus Coleman, while Gylfi Sigurdsson replaces Andre Gomes in midfield. The Portuguese midfielder was taken off in their last game against Southampton after picking up a knock and doesn't make the bench.
Theo Walcott is fit again and replaces Alex Iwobi, but there is no place in the matchday squad for Mason Holgate, who continues to struggle with a shin injury.
Everton: Pickford, Digne, Mina, Keane, Baines, Walcott, Davies, Sigurdsson, Gordon, Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison.
Subs: Iwobi, Sidibe, Bernard, Stekelenburg, Coleman, Kean, Virginia, Branthwaite, Baningime.
