Lyon forward Karl Toko Ekambi: "We could've done better, we could've scored goals - me the first one.

"It didn't go our way tonight, we missed some chances and we were up against a great goalkeeper.

"I don't think they're unbeatable. We knew they were a great side before the game and we knew we had to play out of our skins to win this match but we weren't able to do it.

"Sometimes you have it, sometimes you don't. "Tonight we didn't do the things we needed to win the match."

Lyon defender Marcelo: "We missed the efficiency in front of goal. I’m proud of my team, we faced a great team and played at the same level."

More from Hansi Flick:"Paris are a great team, they fought their way into the semi-final and then reached the final. We will analyse some things, we know they have quick players.

"We will look to organise our defence, but we know our biggest strength is putting our opponents under pressure."

I think if Bayern do not get their holding midfield player correct between Thiago and Goretzka then I would lean towards Paris St-Germain for the final.

  6. Bayern will jump higher against PSGpublished at 22:29 British Summer Time 19 August 2020

    Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich

    Raphael Honigstein
German football journalist on BBC Radio 5 Live

In Germany we say that a good horse only jumps as high as it needs to. And I think they will jump a lot higher against PSG. I am sure they will be more efficient and it will be a more concentrated Bayern team.

I am sure they will score goals but defensively that remains their talking point.

  7. 'Bayern won't change for the final'published at 22:26 British Summer Time 19 August 2020

    Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don't think the way Bayern will play will change for the final. The way they play is to set out to impose themselves on the opposition no matter who they are.

Individually they will have to defend better but I can't see Bayern playing PSG and sitting back and counter attacking. They play front-foot football, they have the high press and they get after teams which is what makes it such and intriguing final.

  8. 'We need to defend better'published at 22:24 British Summer Time 19 August 2020

Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick, speaking to Sky:"We knew it would be difficult, they came in off the back of great performances against Manchester City and Juventus. They are strong tactically and they caused us problems early on.

"We know we need to defend better, we said before we couldn’t afford to give away the ball easily, but we did."

  10. 'He is more than just goals'published at 22:19 British Summer Time 19 August 2020

    Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Robert Lewandowski actually missed some really easy opportunities for him. He can score any type of goal and the header was brilliant. there was not a lot of pace on the ball but it was all about direction.

The goalkeeper did not have a chance it was right in the corner. Top strikers do not fear missing, they just keep getting back in. He is more than just goals, the way he brings other players into the game as well and links up.

Nobody knows how many Lyon players will move on from here.

A lot of clubs will be thinking five or six players could do a job for us and they could find themselves in a much higher and harder league.

Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies, speaking to BT Sport: "It feels good. Everyone is happy and playing well. We are happy to make it to the final. PSG is a good team, right now we celebrate a bit then we focus on the next game.

"It will be a good game, there will be goals in that game. This is what you dream about as a footballer, playing with the best and against the best in Europe.

"It is a dream come true. Playing in the Champions League and getting to the final is everything you could ask for.

"Even though they (the older players in the squad) have won many many titles before they are still hungry to win this one."

Amrul: It could be a mouthwatering final. The Bayern defence will not be able to cope with Mbappe and Neymar.

Ali: Bayern have been simple and effective, don't waste too much energy, they just shifted their energy after the second goal, but you got to admire their focus, I think the 24 extra hours PSG had will not make any difference now, what a great final it will be

You can't keep passing up opportunities and the Lyon players will be sat in the dressing room thinking we are out but we had the chances.

If you asked Dion or I, if we had missed the Toko Ekambi miss in the context of the game, I would feel horrible. I would not sleep for a week.

  16. Record in his sightspublished at 22:01 British Summer Time 19 August 2020

    Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich

A brace in the final for Robert Lewandowski will equal Cristiano Ronaldo's record for most goals in a Champions League season. A hat-trick will break it.

I think Bayern just had a little too much quality in all areas. Leon Goretzka was outstanding.

  18. Will he ever stop scoring?published at 21:57 British Summer Time 19 August 2020

    Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich

In scoring Bayern Munich's third goal, Robert Lewandowski became only the second player in the history of the Champions League to net 15 goals in a single campaign, along with Cristiano Ronaldo who has done so three times (in 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18).

    Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The German juggernaut just rolls on. They had the better players, the pace, the trickery, they had the ruthlessness of their finishing.

It is going to be some final with the pace PSG have up top they could do damage to Bayern.

But Bayern can do damage to absolutely anybody in Europe.
