    HT: Wolves 1-0 Crystal Palace

That was Daniel Podence's first goal for Wolves in the Premier League.

And it's put Wolves in a strong position as they have lost the fewest points (four) from a winning position in the league this season.

Palace will be really frustrated, they kept their shape, and did well and limited Wolves

But they conceded with the only chance they allowed and the hosts have been within themselves to be 1-0 up.

Conor Coady has Wolves so well drilled at the back and they keep clean sheets.

It is a fantastic run from Matt Doherty and he knows a player of Joao Moutinho's quality will find him, it was the perfect weight and height.

Doherty had a lot to do but put it on a plate for Daniel Podence to score.

Noel Fitzpatrick: Strange but Traore's pace can actually work against Wolves because it stops Doherty overlapping; for the goal he did overlap, and it was a brilliant assist.

By the way, a first-half goal is pretty rare from Wolves!

They had scored 73.5% of their goals before kick-off in the second half this season.

    Wonderful goal from Wolves.

It is brilliant from Joao Moutinho, spotting the run of Matt Doherty. Palace had the opportunity to clear it and did not take it.

Moutinho dinked a beautiful ball to Doherty, who pulled it back for Daniel Podence to head home.

That dink completely opened them up, it will be frustrating for Palace who have looked OK.

Joao Moutinho is such an easy-on-the-eye footballer. Plays some excellent passes. He made that goal.

    Daniel Podence

Joao Moutinho flicks a brilliant ball into the box for Matt Doherty, who continues his run into the box and gets in behind young Tyrick Mitchell.

He cuts it back and puts it on a plate for Daniel Podence, who pokes it into an empty net from close range.

    Lovely goal.

It wasn't the hardest shot in the world but it was a free-kick that skipped up off the turf and it could have hit his shoulder and gone in or fallen back out for the players following up.

In the end it is good handling.

Rui Patricio makes things look simple but then does the spectacular too.

Andros Townsend is fouled by Jonny and Palace have a free-kick about 30 yards out. Luka Milivojevic is absent so Townsend will take it himself.

He says to James McArthur "it's a bit far from here" but has a go anyway! It's never troubling the keeper.

    It was too far.

    Here's the Adama Traore threat...

He whips it in from the right and Daniel Podence tries an audacious bicycle kick. He watches it all the way but can't quite get over it.

It ends up flying over the bar.
