Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, speaking to MOTD: "The spirit was really good. It is not a surprise, the players know really well what our supporters ask for on the pitch - to have a good spirit and fight and we showed that today.

"We had opportunities on the counter attack, I am really pleased with the performance. We are at the end of the season but this fantastic spirit can be a good sign for the future.

"Since December we did quite well. We lost a bit of motivation for the last few games but it is important to finish well. A win here is important.

"Super goal. Richarlison is really good with his head and the delivery was really good but the finish was fantastic."

On Jarrad Branthwaite's debut: "Honestly I am a little bit surprised. He is 18 and at that age you make mistakes but he never lost control. He was strong and calm."

This is what I wanted to see and pleased the players played a good game.

"The team could score more, we opened the game with a fantastic goal form Richarlison and needed to be more efficient to score more goals. The combinations up front was good.

"Defensively we did well because we have worked together and the strikers did good .

"Jarrad Branthwaite has confidence, always calm and never loses control. For 18 years old, it is unusual to see a performance like this."

Here come the players at Molineux.

Neither team scored more than two goals in any of the 15 top-flight fixtures between Wolves and Crystal Palace.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton captain Lewis Dunk to Sky Sports: "We're there now. Target is done. We didn't create much, neither did they.

"It wasn't the best game. We cancelled each other out.

"We had more of the possession but didn't create enough. They had five at the back and it was tough to break them down.

"We can relax a bit and enjoy the last game of the season. I can't really remember the start of the season, it was that long ago. We've come a long way."

Wolves have taken just four points from as many games.

But they have suffered only two defeats in 19 games against sides currently in the bottom half of the table (W11, D6).

Thirty six of Wolves' 49 league goals have been scored in the second half of matches.

And Nuno Espirito Santo's side have recovered a league-high 21 points from losing positions and dropped just four points from winning positions.

Crystal Palace have lost six league matches in a row, failing to score in five of those fixtures. It is Roy Hodgson's longest losing streak in the Premier League.

They have suffered three straight away league defeats by an aggregate score of 0-9.

And Palace have scored just 30 league goals, three fewer than their lowest tally in any season.

Brighton are now mathematically safe. I don't have to name my dog after Jack Grealish now either (see post at 4.55).

The teams who finish fifth and sixth will qualify for next season's Europa League (unless they win one of next month's European tournaments).

If the FA Cup winners finish in the top six, then seventh place in the Premier League would qualify for the Europa League. The team who qualify in the lowest league spot go into the second qualifying round.

FA Cup finalists Arsenal are currently 10th in the league.

Wolves will qualify for the Europa League if they win their final two games. It is out of their hands if they drop any points.

Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson tells Amazon Prime: "A tough game, we knew it would be tough but we defended really well and our centre-halves were fantastic, cleared and headed everything.

"The goal was down to Richarlison's movement and header. The way he guided it into the corner was top class.

"The youngsters coming in have done well and hopefully they have a bright future at the club."
