  1. CLOSE!published at 46 mins

    Watford 0-2 Manchester City

Almost a goal straight from kick-off! A careless pass inside from a Watford defender goes straight to Gabriel Jesus and he hares in on goal, Ben Foster makes a good save, standing up tall, Kevin de Bruyne unselfishly squares the loose ball to Bernardo Silva and his shot is charged down.

Andre Gray is one man warming up, big smile on his face. An option for Hayden Mullins should he want it.

    Watford 0-2 Manchester City

Manchester City have now missed five penalties this Premier League season, most in a single campaign since Liverpool in 2011-12 (5).

It's not been amazing from City and that was down to Watford filling in the gaps.

Playing against a City side that is firing in every single department, it is difficult to stop them.

Watford are not as good as Arsenal so with the talent coming at them, they did all right.

City are relentless with the number of passes and you can see the energy draining out, it is very difficult.

Aston Villa v Arsenal (20:15 BST)

Aston Villa are winless in their last 17 Premier League home games against Arsenal (D7 L10) since a 3-2 victory in December 1998.

If Watford lose, as looks likely now, they could not have more incentive to break that drought.

  7. Postpublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 21 July 2020

Watford had one shot, none on target, played 91 passes to City's 352 and just never looked like hurting City at all.

I know it's hard, I know they're playing a superb team but Hayden Mullins has got to change it hasn't he?

Actually a decent chance for Watford right at the end of the half but Craig Dawson is only able to head straight at Ederson after a looping free-kick into the middle.

    Watford 0-2 Manchester City

One lovely pass forwards is enough to slice Watford open, Bernardo Silva is the man in space where there should not be any and he can find Kevin de Bruyne in the middle. The skipper is under heavy pressure and is only able to lift a shot over the bar.

That's 10-0 to City in the two games against Watford in the Premier League so far this season. Watford can't get out of their own box, never mind half.

WHAT. A. SAVE! Simple as that.

Ben Foster almost dives past it and he looks at his defenders asking, who is following in?

Foster will be upset because Raheem Sterling has an easy finish.

    Raheem Sterling (40 mins)

Unlucky Ben Foster! Raheem Sterling takes the spot-kick, not Kevin de Bruyne and he strikes it with plenty of venom. Foster makes a fine one-handed save but can only watch the ball bounce into the path of Sterling, who has a left-footed tap-in.

    Watford 0-1 Manchester City

Brilliant fast break from City as Watford are punished for finally sending men in attack. Phil Foden finds Raheem Sterling, who beats one man with a lovely touch, and then as Will Hughes comes across he chops the England man down.

Here's the foot of the table as it stands. Defeat for Watford here and the ball rolls into Aston Villa's court.

If they could beat Arsenal later on then Sunday afternoon will be a thriller...

Raheem Sterling has scored six goals in his last four Premier League meetings with Watford. His finishing is so vastly improved isn't it? In terms of Watford's gameplan, it's surely in the bin now. They don't have a player in the City half when Ismaila Sarr wins a tackle and looks up.

It is a great finish from Raheem Sterling.

It was a terrible cross from Kyle Walker but it went straight to Sterling, who controlled it and it sat up for him to bend it into the top corner.

    Ben Foster had no chance.

GOAL - Watford 0-1 Manchester Citypublished at 18:30 British Summer Time 21 July 2020

    Raheem Sterling (31 mins)

Spark discovered! Blimey what a goal this is! There doesn't look too much danger when Kyle Walker retrieves a misplaced ball out wide. He only has two men in the middle but fires in a cross which Raheem Sterling is able to control at full stretch.

One touch to set it, then with his second he rifles a strike past Ben Foster before he could even see it.

    Superb, deadly finish.
