That was a huge opportunity for Mason Mount. It's a lovely switch of play. Willian gets in down the side and pulls it back to Reece James who puts it in and Mount should have tested Alisson from there.

  2. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

The first chance of the night and it falls for Chelsea! Falls to the wrong man, if we're honest. I wouldn't put heading at the very top of Mason Mount's skillset and he heads into the Kop from about six yards out.

Olivier Giroud would have buried that.

  3. 'Sloppy start by Jorginho'published at 20:21 British Summer Time 22 July 2020

    Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Jorginho has been caught on the ball a couple of times. Liverpool's press has been excellent but Chelsea are starting to put together a few passes and look dangerous.

Chelsea are back up to third in the as-it-stands table and they are controlling the tempo of this one at the moment. Mason Mount gets into a good area but is closed down well.

The families of the Liverpool players will be allowed to attend the trophy presentation tonight, BBC Sport understands, after the local Safety Advisory Group held a meeting this evening and gave their approval for an extra 200 people to be inside Anfield for the function.

The SAG decided that the proposals put forward by the club met COVID safety requirements.

The families will be inside the stadium during the match against Chelsea but will not be able to watch, and will be held in a lounge.

BBC Sport has been told that once the game has finished, they will be brought down into the stadium bowl in their households for the presentation.
