Well, that was some end to our live action today!

It looked like Barnsley would be relegated back to League One today but that late, late Patrick Schmidt goal gave them a vital 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest that means they go into the final day with some hope.

They'll still need to beat Brentford, who will be chasing a win that could send them up to the Premier League but with Wigan facing a 12-point deduction and Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday also in danger of having points taken away over an EFL misconduct charge anything could happen.

We are set in for a heck of a final day on Wednesday.

All of those games kick off at 19:30 BST and we'll be with you from 18:30 BST.

Hope you can join us then and thanks for joining us today.

As things stand, Barnsley would be relegated if they don't find a winner against Forest today, but there are plenty of ifs, buts and maybes in the Championship relegation battle.

There's a potential 12-point deduction to come for Wigan for going into administration earlier this month - they're appealing against that sanction.

Sheffield Wednesday are only eight points above the drop zone and they're still awaiting a verdict after being charged by the EFL in relation to the sale of Hillsborough to owner Dejphon Chansiri.

So it MIGHT not be all over if Barnsley fail to win today, but they'd be relying on off-field matters to give them any hope.

    Four minutes to go.

Barnsley are chucking the lot at this.

They win another corner after some neat interplay but Alex Mowatt's near-post delivery is headed away.

The attack ends with Marcel Ritzmaier slicing a cross behind.

Forest haven't had a kick in what feels like an age.

    Barnsley 0-0 Nott'm Forest

It really isn't going Barnsley's way at all!

Sammy Ameobi upends Jacob Brown 25 yards from goal, Alex Mowatt clips the free-kick to the back post and after Brown directs it across goal, Matty Wolfe sees his effort headed off the line by Joe Worrall.

    And that's drinks.

Just before Barnsley hit the post they made their second change, Matty Wolfe on for Luke Thomas.

This is it for the Tykes now. A win takes battle to survive to the final day, anything else and they will be relegated by 17:00 BST.
