FT: Hibernian 2-1 Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer was pleased with a lot of his side's play but was "gutted" not to take a point.
"Disappointed with the way it went and thought we could've got something out the game," he told Sportsound.
"But I'm proud of the boys, they worked hard and created a lot of chances in the game but it's small margins and you get punished when you come up against good sides when you make mistakes.
Dyer also confirmed goalkeeper Jake Eastwood, who was replaced at half time, pulled his quad.
FT: Dundee United 1-1 St Johnstone
Dundee United head coach Micky Mellon has given his thoughts after his side gave up a 1-0 lead against 10-man St Johnstone.
"I felt we were ok and then we lose a goal from a bit of detail that we have worked on and the lads knew the work that had to be done and we just came off it a little bit," he said.
"It'll be a continual learning process, they've come up a new level now as the champions last year. They'll get different questions now at a higher level against stronger teams and we'll have to get used those lessons very, very quickly."
"We will get better, fitter and we will get more organised and do better on those details - because we'll have to."
FT: Hibernian 2-1 Kilmarnock
Hibernian head coach Jack Ross on BBC Radio Scotland: "We had to show different qualities in different parts of our game. We carried that attacking threat that I believe we will always do. I would have liked to have had more control of the game but we played a good team. We had to defend resolutely and I was pleased we did that today, it's something we've worked hard on and rectified from last season.
"Ryan Porteous rolled his ankle in the first half, but testament to his character, he wanted to come through the whole game. He's been a huge plus for me, he's a really good young centre-half and he has looked good during pre-season."
FT: St Mirren 1-0 Livingston
St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin: "It wasn't pretty we knew it wasn't going to be. To keep a clean sheet is very pleasing.
"It's the most confident I've felt on the touchline. My two centre-halves were outstanding in particular.
"We can do better on the ball. Today was about digging out a result."
FT: Dundee United 1-1 St Johnstone
After going behind to an early penalty and then getting Michael O'Halloran sent off, St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson had a bit of a nightmare start to his managerial debut. But he was pleased with his side's response.
"Once we got a man sent off we were tremendous," he said. "I would have been really disappointed if we hadn't taken anything from the game.
On the sending off, Davidson added: "I thought he was probably fortunate to get away with the second [the foul before his second yellow card] one as well.
"We actually talked about do we bring him off now, but he goes and puts another tackle in and that was the end of it. Michael has to realise that when you are on a booking, when you've been let off you've got to be very careful."
FT: St Mirren 1-0 Livingston
Livingston head coach Gary Holt: "I don't think we deserved to win the game, I don't think we deserved to lose it.
"We have to put the work in and I don't think we put the work in first half to win the game.
"We don't look for excuses. The lack of fans is an excuse."

Chief executive Neil Doncaster was modelling an SPFL-branded face mask at Tannadice this afternoon.
It's a flak jacket that any SPFL chief executive needs more to be honest.
I don't think they'll be flying off the shelves this season...

Quote MessageKilmarnock were right in it to the closing stages of the game. It was a sensational free-kick from Chris Burke just before half-time. They just couldn't find a way to really trouble Ofir Marciano.
The second halves weren't quite as action packed, but I'd say that's been a brilliant start to the Premiership season.
Plenty to get into on Saturday Sportscene later!
Just the one goal in Paisley with Richard Tait's debut header enough to give St Mirren all three points.
Livingston pressed hard but struggled to convert pressure into chances.
Martin Boyle's double earns Hibs a nervy opening-day victory from an entertaining contest in Leith.
Boyle pounced twice in the first half to put Jack Ross' men in command, and they were pretty comfortable until Chris Burke lashed in a superb free-kick on the stroke of half-time.
After the break, Killie pressed hard, but lacked the cutting edge to apply a killer touch. Plenty good balls into the box; no decisive finish.
At the other end, Boyle went close to nabbing a third, with Christian Doidge also spurning a good opportunity.
Having squandered no fewer than nine leads last season, Hibs will be relieved to get over the line and begin their season with a win.
St Mirren 1-0 Livingston
Scott Pittman tests Jak Alnwick but the St Mirren goalkeeper continues Livingston's frustration.
Not many would have backed St Johnstone to take anything from this one as they trudged off at half time a goal down and a man down.
However. Liam Craig found a stunning equaliser and from that point the depleted visitors were the better side.
United dominated the first 45 minutes but fell out the game completely before a second wind in the closing minutes.
Hibernian 2-1 Kilmarnock
Big chance for Danny Whitehall to drag Kilmarnock level. The replacement striker, on debut, gets on the end of a cross from the right five yards out, but nods just over the top. Worrying signs for Hibs, whose defensive frailties were frequently exposed last term.

Five minutes to play at Easter Road, and the contest has dimmed a little after some injury-enforced stoppages. Can Killie repeat their comeback of November, when they snatched a late point having trailed 2-0 at Easter Road?
