  1. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-0 Ross Countypublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

It has, on the whole, been a dreadful first half, but in the final two minutes, we did witness some attempts on goal.

Lars Lokotsch found the County crossbar and Billy Mckay twice headed wide of the home goal.

  2. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirrenpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

St Johnstone will wonder why they are not taking a lead in with them at the break. They've had 14 shots to St Mirren's none, but only two have been on target.

The visitors do not look like the side that has started this season so confidently.

Work for both managers to do at half-time.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:47 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

Goalkeeper Jak Alnwick gets down to make a fine block to keep St Johnstone captain Jason Kerr's header out. Liam Gordon tries to convert the rebound, but Richard Tait deflects the ball out amid protests the St Mirren handled, but referee Kevin Clancy awards a corner.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:47 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Livingston 0-0 Ross County

County striker Billy Mckay heads wide of the Livingston goal from a corner!

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Livingston 0-0 Ross County

German striker Lars Lokotsch hits the County crossbar with a header after rising to meet a cross from the right. County goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw was beaten there.

When play switches to the other end, Ross Stewart heads across goal, but it comes to Billy Mckay too quickly and he doesn't have time to direct it on target with his head and instead the ball goes wide.

That was much, much better. You'd even call it football.

  6. Pain and pleasure for Kabambapublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-0 Dundee United

  7. Early St Mirren substitutionpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

St Mirren have made a first-half change with Cammy MacPherson coming on for Kyle McAllister. Not sure why the often influential midfielder has been withdrawn - there didn't appear to be an injury.

Another chance comes the hosts' way, with striker Callum Hendry heading Danny McNamara's cross wide.

  8. Dear, dear Staggiespublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 Ross County

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Tony Macaroni Arena

Livingston are far and away the team who look the most likely to break the deadlock with County yet to get a foothold in the game. The switch to playing a back three isn’t paying off yet for the Staggies.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:36 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

Scott Tanser volleys wide from Jason Kerr's cross. St Johnstone really need to start hitting the target with all these chances.

  10. Can't escape the pandemic ....published at 15:34 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Livingston 0-0 Ross County

  11. McNamara impressespublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren ( 31 mins)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

This is the first time I have seen Danny McNamara since he arrived at St Johnstone. He looks a very good recruit. Good pace and vision down the right-hand side, providing a really good outlet for the Perth side on that flank.

  12. GOAL! Kilmarnock 1-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Nicke Kabamba

    Stunning ball by Calum Waters.

The full-back whips a cross in from the left-hand side and there is striker Nicke Kabamba in a pocket of space to powerfully head the ball home.

  13. Findlay off injuredpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

Bad news for Killie as centre-half Stuart Findlay goes off with what looks like a groin injury. On comes Clevid Dikamona, the summer arrival from Hearts.

  14. Conway off targetpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

  15. Shot on target!published at 15:26 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Livingston 0-0 Ross County

At the midway point of the first half, we have our first attempt on target as County midfielder Iain Vigurs' free-kick from 30 yards is saved comfortably by goalkeeper Robby McCrorie.

  16. YELLOW CARD Tremarco (Ross County)published at 15:25 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Livingston 0-0 Ross County

County midfielder Ross Draper can hardly be surprised to follow team-mate Carl Tremarco into referee John Beaton's book. He has committed a series of fouls.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

Benjamin Siegrist may be slightly lucky there. It's probably not a penalty, but it's also definitely not a United free-kick.

A lofted ball forward is challenged for by Siegrist and Nicke Kabamba. Kabamba gets clattered, but referee David Munro gives the decision in favour of the United 'keeper.

Not sure how he came to that conclusion.

  18. Foul...foul...foul...published at 15:23 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Livingston 0-0 Ross County

    Image caption,

On-loan Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie is flying high

Ross County have not fully settled, which is perhaps exactly Livingston's intention. They won their first corner, but it was wasted by Michael Gardyne, who gave it too much welly.

Keen to make amends, Gardyne gets back on the ball and his feet are a blur as he seeks a way to escape the attentions of three home players. However, he is knocked to the ground by a clumsy challenge.

County do soon forge an attack, with in-demand striker Ross Stewart heading over Robby McCrorie's crossbar. However, he is penalised for an elbow in the back of a Livingston defender.

  19. First shot on target for Killiepublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee United

Still waiting for this game to burst into life.

Chris Burke shoots straight at Benjamin Siegrist from a tight angle after being played in by Nicke Kabamba, who already has what looks like a big white cloth stuck up his nose to stem blood for a head knock.

Straight down the other end and Luke Bolton earns a corner for United. The first corner is headed behind for another. The second is easily cleared.

  20. O'Halloran to forepublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

St Johnstone are starting to take a bit of stranglehold on this game now, a lot of possession, and they are now bringing plenty of menace with it. Michael O'Halloran in particular is starting to cause the visitors a few problems.
