  1. I won't accept being swept aside - Kettlewellpublished at 17:29 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    FT: Livingston 1-0 Ross County

Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell, who was sent off after the match: "I thought it was a really poor game of football. We should have been more creative when we entered Livingston's half.

"It's a frustrating one, with the nature of the goal and how it came about. We never tested them. We had a game plan to get through 45 minutes and match their energy and aggression.

"The game changes when you go down to 10 men. I am not going to complain about the sending off - it's the goal.

"I believe Ross Stewart is being fouled inside the penalty area [by scorer Jon Guthrie]. The same two players came together in the first half and it was blown up for a foul.

"There are certain officials you can speak to. The thing I'm not going to accept is being swept aside like a second-class citizen."

  2. 'Really bad' display is St Mirren's first - Goodwinpublished at 17:27 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    Jim GoodwinImage source, SNS

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin: "St Johnstone thoroughly deserved to run out winners. They were by far the better team, particularly in the first half.

"Second half was a slight improvement from ourselves. It's our first really bad performance of the season in five games.

"It's not something that we're going to get too despondent about, but we certainly have to make sure we don't have too many performances like that."

  4. Perfect performance - Killie boss Dyerpublished at 17:23 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

    FT: Kilmarnock 4-0 Dundee United

Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer is clearly delighted with that 4-0 victory over Dundee United.

"Perfect performance," he tells BBC Sportsound.

"The boys worked hard. It was coming. We played well overall, the boys deserve it and the whole club deserve it.

"It’s the first time this season I’ve played two up front. I knew we needed to get a result today, so I wanted to be positive.

"It’s a crucial win, it’s a morale booster. The players believe in what we’re trying to achieve, but we've just not had the rub of the green and we got that today."

  5. Red card for County managerpublished at 17:22 British Summer Time 29 August 2020

Apparently County manager Stuart Kettlewell was shown a red card after the final whistle by referee John Beaton.

FT: St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren

Alfredo Morelos, who has "refocused" according to manager Steven Gerard after being dropped last week amid interest from Lille, returns to the Rangers squad.

But the Colombia striker has to make do with a place on the bench as Kemar Roofe retains his place up front. Fellow forward Cedric Itten has a calf injury and makes way from last Saturday's 2-0 win over Kilmarnock, with midfielder Ianis Hagi restored to the starting XI.

Hamilton refresh their midfield with three changes from the derby success over Motherwell a week ago.

Eighteen-year-olds Reegan Mimnaugh and Andrew Winter, as well as Canada international Charlie Trafford, start in place of David Templeton, David Moyo and Justin Johnson.

Livingston are off the bottom of the Premiership with their first win of the season.

The second half was better than the lamentable first, Jon Guthrie's towering header giving the hosts a deserved win.

Five second-half changes for Ross County could not make up for the dismissal of left-back Carl Tremarco.
