With the PA system here now on to Now That's What I Call Crowd Noise volume six as we creep into 20 minutes gone, Motherwell are looking as menacing as they have done all season.

Talking of that man Matty Kennedy, the winger breezes past another defender before sending in a cross that finds Scott Wright on the penalty spot. His header is on target but is blocked by the defender.

A half-hearted penalty appeal for handball ensues. Nothing given.

Matty Kennedy is looking in the mood for this tonight. Every time he has the ball, you get the feeling something is going to happen. Very much Aberdeen's main creative threat at the moment - other than that, not a lot to report from Pittodrie so far.

Great save from Glentoran goalkeeper Dayle Coleing, scooping off the line as Declan Gallagher meets a corner with a volley and it hits off team-mate Bevis Mugabe. The Gibraltar international did well to recover there.

Aberdeen are already turning the screw.

Matty Kennedy bursts down the right and whips the ball into Curtis Main, but the striker is too far ahead of the near post to direct his header towards goal and it goes wide.

Seanan Clucas, the former Preston North End and Bristol Rovers midfielder, goes into the referee's book for an agricultural challenge of Motherwell defender Ricki Lamie.

Aberdeen 0-0 NSI Runavik

After a scrappy opening passage of play, Aberdeen get their foot on the ball and start to cause problems.

They earn the first corner of the game, but it comes to nothing.

Scott Wright looks like he has problem with his wrist. The forward's getting it taped up on the sidelines.

This is Glentoran's 100th match in European competition.

They are looking for their 12th win but so far are having to do most of the defending at Fir Park.

True to their word, the noise of the "Well Bois" is being piped through the Fir Park sound system as we get kicked off here. There's a pigeon who has just had a heart attack as the drum kicked in.

The Sportsound pundits don't think either Scottish side should have too much trouble progressing to the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

As we kick-off at both grounds, we'll find out in nearly two hours' time.

Here come the teams into two ghostly stadiums bereft of fans. Let's hope there is plenty of action.
