As a Liverpool fan I actually thought Chelsea could be a threat this season. Now I'm only hoping they can keep United and Everton out of the top four.

A neat one-two from Callum Hudson-Odoi with Kai Havertz before an accomplished shot across the goal. I think it is safe to say the game is on now.

And now Chelsea send on Olivier Giroud, to replace Thiago Silva. Can the handsome man do the business once again for Chelsea?

    Callum Hudson-Odoi (70 mins)

That's an absolutely lovely goal! One that could have been played out in Munich had transfer talks gone another way as Timo Werner finds Callum Hudson-Odoi, who plays an intricate one-two with Kai Havertz and just strokes a shot into the far corner. Just passed it in.

    A superb team goal...

RE: 59 minutes. Why is it 30 minutes for WBA to 'survive' and not 30 minutes for Chelsea to 'win'?

Guy Mowbray points out that Timo Werner is being asked to do a lot of work out wide when he scored about a million goals in the Bundesliga - should he be more central?

Chelsea are still seeing all of the ball but long-range drives aside haven't looked very threatening.

West Brom have half an hour to survive. It's 10 behind the ball most of the time now as Mason Mount has another dig but his shot is blocked at souce by the lunging Dara O'Shea.

    Always find the local angle.

Callum Robinson is on a hat-trick but even so, a shot from 40 yards is as ambitious as it comes. Into the top tier.

Mason Mount's 25-yard shot was swerving and it looked like Sam Johnstone in the West Brom goal may have been unsighted. He will be annoyed at that goal. The comeback is on.

    Will Chelsea MOUNT a comeback?

I'm glad I bothered clearing up that sub now as Mason Mount gets the fightback under way, with a superb goal too. He gets the ball just outside the area and hits a swerving shot which wrongfoots Sam Johnstone and flies into the corner.

It looks deflected on first viewing, odd trajectory, but no it's true.

Chelsea win a corner, Kyle Bartley clears bravely from the face of danger. Albion deserve plenty of credit, they've faced Chelsea having 77% of the ball but have only needed their keeper Sam Johnstone to make three saves. Which have all been routine.
