It's getting worse for St Mirren as the rain pours in Paisley.

Joe Newell curls an inswinger from the corner flag, with Zdenek Zlamal struggling to get there. He jumps at full-stretch towards the back post but just can't get a touch on it, and there's Martin Boyle waiting to head it in.

    That should be that.

  16. Surely more goals to come?published at 15:59

    Motherwell 1-0 St Johnstone

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

Only one goal in this game so far, but you get the feeling more will come in this one. Both teams are playing well and with some confidence going forward, so you’d expect that to continue in the second half. The home side are going for their first league win of the season; St Johnstone going for back-to-back wins.

    HT: Aberdeen 1-0 Kilmarnock

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

A very good competitive game this one. Aberdeen's goal had quality stamped all over it. But Kilmarnock have responded well, Kiltie in particular catching the eye and causing the Dons all sorts of problems. The hosts may have the lead, but the visitors are far from out of things.

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee United

Despite being hit with a triple injury headache, Rangers are in control of proceedings at Ibrox.

Leon Balogun, Ryan Jack and Brandon Barker have all been lost over the course of the afternoon so far, but the Scottish Premiership leaders have not been slowed down. Goals from Ryan Kent and James Tavernier are the difference so far.

Nicky Clark was unlucky to see a header glance wide, but not much else to report for the away side. Rangers are 45 minutes away from a record seventh-straight clean sheet at the start of the campaign.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 12 September 2020

    Aberdeen 1-0 Kilmarnock

It's been an entertaining 45 minutes for the 300 fans inside Pittodrie.

Aberdeen have played with great pace and invention, and Ross McCrorie scored his first goal for the club when he met Scott Wright's cross first time and added a sublime finish.

Kilmarnock have had most of the chances though and have peppered the Dons box with crosses. However, despite the pressure, Dons goalkeeper Joe Lewis hasn't had to do too much to keep Killie out.
