  1. Kilmarnock start well at Pittodriepublished at 5 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock are all over Aberdeen at the start of this game. They win a series of corners and Aberdeen are having to defend desperately in their own box.

Nicke Kabamba is left in space on the edge of the six-yard box, but takes too long to get the ball under control and a red shirt does well to block his shot.

    Campbell

What a hit! Allan Campbell backs up his long-range strike for the Scotland U21s with another fine effort at Fir Park.

He drives forward through the middle of the park and drills the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

What a start for the home side!

Lars Lokotsch makes his away down the left and plays a low ball into Scott Pittman who turns the ball towards goal. The effort takes a deflection off a helpless Accies defender leaving Ryan Fulton with no chance.

  8. Robinson looks for more 'know how'published at 14:59

    Motherwell v St Johnstone (15:00)

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson says he's looking for more steel from his side as they search for their first win

"We certainly won't change our style, we've got players who pass the ball and we've worked hard to get to that stage," he tells BBC Scotland.

"But sometimes in a scrappy game you've got throw your body on the line to defend or in the opposite box to make a goal. We've got into so many good areas. We need a bit more know-how and understanding. That's what we've been working on the last two weeks."

I've been chatting to the Aberdeen fans lucky enough to have got their 'golden tickets' to the game, and their excitement about being able simply to come and watch a match again has been refreshing. The numbers may be small, but this does feel like a significant day.

  11. Erwin on bench for St Mirren, Murphy makes first Hibs startpublished at 14:53

    St Mirren v Hibernian (15:00)

Of course the big news from St Mirren Park is that Zdenek 'Bobby' Zlamal starts in goal having signed on an emergency loan deal from Hearts this morning. 40-year-old goalkeeping coach Jamie Langfield is on the bench for the hosts, as is new signing Lee Erwin, having joined from Ross County two days ago.

The only other change in the starting XI from the team that loss to St Johnstone before the international break is Kristian Dennis coming in for Kyle McAllister.

Hibernian also lost 1-0 to Aberdeen before the international break. Alex Gogic missed that game after a 'false positive' Covid-19 test. He returns to the starting line up today in place of Melker Hallberg.

Kevin Nisbet also missed out through injury, but he returns today in place of Scott Allan. Meanwhile, Jamie Murphy makes his first start for the club, replacing Drey Wright in the starting line-up.

  12. 'Back three my preferred formation' - Lennonpublished at 14:51

    Ross County v Celtic (15:00)

Celtic manager Neil Lennon confirms the switch to a back three today, telling BBC Scotland Sportsound: "It's my preferred formation. We just had to get our strikers fitter.

"We might get an hour out of Albian Ajeti today, and Odsonne Edouard is back, so we have two good strikers. We have pace in wide areas and a very strong midfield."

On debutant Shane Duffy, Lennon added: "He comes in after having two games for Ireland - his first action since January - so that will have done him the world of good. Obviously we wanted to put him in as soon as possible."

  13. McInnes 'thought long and hard' about teampublished at 14:50

    Aberdeen v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes says Dylan McGeouch is unlucky not to be in Aberdeen's starting line-up this afternoon.

However, the Dons have stuck with the same team that beat Hibs 1-0, after posting four wins from four before the international break.

"I think we were pleased with the four games we had in a short space of time," McInnes told BBC Scotland.

"We go with the same team we had against Hibs - I thought long and hard about it because I was really pleased with Dylan McGeouch against Runavik and the only reason he missed out at Easter Road was because the games came quite quickly again.

"Hopefully that's the team that's going to get the job done, and if not we've got a strong bench there."

  14. Fans a 'big motivation' for Countypublished at 14:47

    Ross County v Celtic (15:00)

Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell says having fans back in the stadium for the first time since March is a "big motivation for the team".

Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland Sportsound: “Let’s not underestimate how much of a positive effect it can have on the players.

"Hopefully it can be a decent spectacle and we entertain the home fans. It has changed the complexion of the game today.

“Fingers crossed it all goes to plan and we set a decent precedent so we have that trust to get more people through the door."

  15. Holt in for Livi; Accies ring four changespublished at 14:45

    Livingston v Hamilton Accies (15:00)

Livingston manager Gary Holt makes one change to the side that secured their first league win of the season against Ross County last time out as Jason Holt comes in for Craig Sibbald.

As for Hamilton, head coach Brian Rice makes four changes to his team following the 2-0 defeat at home to Rangers two weeks ago.

Lee Hodson, who has been forced to isolate after housemate Jak Alnwick of St Mirren tested positive for coronavirus, misses out as well as Scott McMann, Charlie Trafford and Andy Winter.

Coming in to replace all four players are Will Collar, Kyle Munro, David Templeton and David Moyo.

If Rangers don't concede against Dundee United this afternoon, they will set a new record.

Steven Gerrard's side matched the mark - set by Celtic 114 years ago - of six clean sheets at the start of a season in their 2-0 win over Hamilton Academical last time out.

In 1906, it took until the final minute of Celtic's win over Aberdeen in October for their run to be broken by David McKinlay's late consolation.

  19. Kilmarnock on form - Dyerpublished at 14:35

    Aberdeen v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer feels his side have been playing well since the start of the season, and that the 4-0 win over Dundee United before the international break was no fluke.

He tells BBC Scotland: "We had a good result and we've had a couple of good weeks of training, but this is a tough fixture for us. But hopefully we can come here and have a good performance and a get a result.

"They've been playing well since the start of the season but not always had the rub of the green. Last time out we did. Hopefully we can kick on and go again in this game.

"The lads needed a break. The result came at a good time."

  20. 'Made an absolute mockery of the league'published at 14:31

    St Mirren v Hibernian (15:00)

St Mirren boss Jim Goodwin, discussing the club's goalkeeper crisis on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound, adds: "I find that extremely hard to accept and it's really disappointing that our own league would be willing to do that to a member club.

"It would have made an absolute mockery of the league. We as a country want to promote our league in the best way possible and not have the people in England and all over the world laugh at us when we have to stick a Sam Foley or somebody in the goal. It's ridiculous.

    Goalkeeper Bobby ZlamalImage source, SNS

"We've been very fortunate that we've been able to get a keeper of Bobby's standard in. I'm so grateful to [manager] Robbie Neilson and everyone at Hearts for their help. It would have been very easy for Hearts to say no because they didn't want to risk their player. We owe them one in the future."
