Patrick Schmidt has just flashed a very dangerous ball across the six-yard area but nobody could get on the end of it for Barnsley.
Cauley Woodrow then smashes one from long range and Willy Caballero has to pull off a brilliant save to tip it over the bar!

Better from Barnsley. They take advantage of a bit of space in the middle but the shot on the left side of the box is well blocked by Chelsea, who had defenders back in numbers.

Jacob Murphy has a really good run into the box. He tries to pick out Joelinton at the far post but he leaves it. It bounces back off the woodwork and the keeper scrambles to gather it in.

It's chucking it down at Highbury and both teams are having to contend with a greasy surface. Perfect conditions for an upset. Everton are bossing the early possession but Fleetwood are going toe-to-toe.

What a start for Newcastle!
It's fairly routine too. Newcastle build the attack down the right through Emil Krafth, it's flicked on by Miguel Almiron on the edge of the box and it comes through to Joelinton a few yards out.
He just slots it into the bottom left corner.
