It's getting a little bit sloppy and a little slow in the Arsenal play now. A few tired bodies out there. You hope that the youngsters who have played tonight will learn a few lessons from this. You hope that Mikel Arteta has learned something about his players tonight because at times, they have done OK but it's been a tough experience at times.

Phil Foden has been very good. He pops it wide to Riyad Mahrez, who gets into the box and on to his left foot before striking a low effort on target, but Alex Runarsson does well to get down and keep it out.

Emile Smith Rowe has looked lively since he has come on and does well to get down the left and fire a ball across the top of the six-yard box, but there's not enough red and white shirts in the box to get on the end of it.

That FA Cup win was less than five months ago, Jonathan. Not fancy Arteta to turn this start to the season around? City have been clinical tonight.

It's been precious little of Arsenal attacking, they have just ran out of steam in the second half. When they have got into the final third, that quality just hasn't been there.

Arsenal did have that little spell when they scored and got back into the game but now it's just been wrestled away from them.

It's just quality from Manchester City. Short corner, Arsenal give Phil Foden a yard of space and he just works the ball back onto his left foot. Two players at the far post and a free header for Aymeric Laporte.

It's so static for Arsenal inside the penalty area and it was simple as you like for Laporte.

Sergio Aguero is taking off his trackies - just what Arsenal need. He's going to get a quarter of an hour or so at the Emirates.

Emile Smith Rowe gets his first touch as Arsenal work it in front of the City defence and the young playmaker then turns smartly to feed a pass into Alexandre Lacazette's path, but the forward hits the side netting from a tight angle. Nice move that from the hosts.
