This is absolutely brilliant from Marcus Rashford! And Upamecano - everyone was talking about him, he's going to be the next great defender and Rashford absolutely rips him with two quick touches, goes past him like he's not there and the finish is absolutely devastating. Game over!

The flag went up really early from the assistant. But regardless of the flag, how good was the pass from Bruno Fernandes? Adjusted his feet really quickly and played it first time.

The goal stands. Marcus Rashford was deemed onside as he raced on to Bruno Fernandes' delicious pass and coolly slotted it into the net.

    A two-goal cushion for United.

  10. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 75 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford have been excellent since coming on. United defend the ball on the edge of their box and it's moved forward from Paul Pogba.

Fernandes then scoops it first-time through to Rashford, who races through and scores. The flag goes up immediately and it's chalked off.

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Marcus Rashford flicks it first-time around the defender and down the line for Bruno Fernandes.

He tries to pick out Paul Pogba, who was busting a gut to get into the box for the ball in but it's come at him too fast.

Just needed a touch more quality on that.

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Bruno Fernandes takes the free-kick and flicks it cheekily over the wall and into the six-yard area.

It doesn't quite drop quick enough for Anthony Martial to get a toe on it. That was very clever! Martial has his head in his hands - it almost came off.

  15. 'Van de Beek needs time'published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Donny van de Beek has been quiet. It is difficult, he hasn't had enough game time. I think United have signed an excellent player but it will take him time if he's not playing week in, week out. It's hard to get that rhythm and fluency in your game.

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Those changes have given RB Leipzig a burst, similar to the spell they had at the end of the first half.

United have dropped deeper but are a threat on the break. Marcus Rashford wins a free-kick after he's clattered into by Marcel Halstenberg. It's a good position too.

Jonny Vegas: RE: Bresla at 20.52: Not sure what you expect of Leipzig, if you keep in mind that they only have 4 Bundesliga seasons under their belt and play away at Manchester United in the Champions League. It's a shame to Man U that they cant dominate a side like that.
