  1. 'Leipzig need a spark'published at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think it's smart be Julian Nagelsmann, taking Benjamin Henrichs off. He was lucky to still be on the pitch as he should've been sent off. Marcel Sabitzer is an influential player and Leipzig need that spark.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 65 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Really smart save from David de Gea! An RB Leipzig free-kick is flicked on by Yussuf Poulsen and Ibrahima Konate is there at the back post.

The angle is tight but his header needed to be saved by De Gea.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Marcel Sabitzer is on for RB Leipzig which will be one for United to watch. He replaces Benjamin Henrichs, who was basically walking over a pedestrian crossing on a red light with his fouls starting to tally up.

For United, Marcus Rashford is on in place of Mason Greenwood. Scott McTominay replaces Nemanja Matic

  4. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

It's slipped in to Donny van de Beek in the box and he slides to control it. Marcel Halstenberg is there to block him and gets hurt in the follow through.

Shane O' Neil: Martial looks absolutely hopeless tonight. Might as well be playing with 10. Bring on Rashford or Cavani asap please.

Matt: Martial not on it tonight. Get Cavani on.

Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Zenit St Petersburg

Dortmund were soundly beaten by Lazio last week and they are labouring again. They have just over half an hour to find some form or it's a tricky start to the campaign.

That should be a second yellow for Benjamin Henrichs [on Paul Pogba]. He has got away with that. Soft from the referee. Ridiculous.

  8. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Lovely from United.

Nemanja Matic, to Paul Pogba, to Anthony Martial on the left. All one-touch passes. The Frenchman drives along the byline and is a few yards away from the near post when Ibrahima Konate comes in with a perfectly-timed tackle.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020
    Breaking

    Juventus 0-1 Barcelona

After a long, long, long check the goal is chalked off. Alvaro Morata was again offside.

    Not his night.

  10. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Benjamin Henrichs isn't letting Paul Pogba escape down the left and that's at all costs. He comes through him and gives away another foul.

Anthony Martial then receives it in the box but he can't create space for himself to shoot.

  11. 'United to watch Olmo'published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The one player United really have to watch is Dani Olmo. There are signs in this second half of him causing United one or two problems.

  12. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Paul Pogba concedes a free-kick near the right touchline. Christopher Nkunku's cross hits Donny van de Beek and Victor Lindelof hastily clears it in the six-yard area.

It's not fully clear and Emil Forsberg drives towards the byline on the left, winning a corner off another block.

  13. goal

GOAL - Juventus 1-1 Barcelonapublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Alvaro Morata

Third time lucky for Alvaro Morata has scores and this one looks like it will count.

Juan Cuadrado mis-hit his volley and the ball fell kindly for Morata to tab in.

VAR is having a check, though, for a possible offside.

  14. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Harry Maguire feeds it through to Donny van de Beek, who flicks it on first-time to Anthony Martial.

It almost gets through the two centre-backs but a toe comes out to intercept just in time.

Andrew Morris: If the Chelsea incident was handball, then how can that Manchester United incident not be handball?

People forget this is a long season. Lots of games per week, so squads are important to use and rotate. United are no different. Chelsea, RB, then Arsenal is a tough week of games. To conserve energy when you need it is key, which is what United are doing. Why bust a gut when you do enough? Yes, risky, but working at present.

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Nemanja Matic jumps up for an aerial ball and catches his opponent with his arm again. He got a yellow in the first half for the same offence but this time has a strong word from the referee and that's it.

    Living dangerously.

  17. Leipzig have more intensity'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

RB Leipzig look like they have a point to prove. We didn't hear much of Olmo in the first half but he looks lively. Leipzig were all very flat, not crisp in the first half. Maybe there were words in the dressing room as they have come out with more intensity in the second half.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 52 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

It's worked out the back really well by United as Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays a first-time pass into Donny van de Beek.

He tries to return it but loses the ball. United win it back almost immediately and Anthony Martial is in.

He tries to cut it back but it's intercepted by a sliding Ibrahima Konate. Angelino comes across to cover and there's a scramble where it hits Konate's arm while he's on the floor.

Frantic penalty appeals but after a VAR check, nothing's given.

  19. Change of shapepublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's noticeable in this second half that it may be a change of shape for Leipzig. They look to have gone to more of a back four. Kampl sitting in front of Olmo. More of a 4-2-3-1 this half.

  20. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Dayot Upamecano, who is always so comfortable on the ball, dances past Fred and pings a cross into the middle.

It's nodded away but Leipzig come back again down the left. Again, the cross is blocked by the first man.
