  4. Chelsea score four in Russiapublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    FK Krasnador 0-4 Chelsea

If you missed it earlier, Hakim Ziyech scored his first Chelsea goal as Frank Lampard's side picked up three points in an emphatic Champions League win in Russia.

Ziyech, 27, swept in on his first start for the club to add to goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic as Chelsea returned to goalscoring ways in style.

Back-to-back goalless draws had signalled that Lampard had made strides in sorting out his side's defence, and while they will face tougher opposition than Russian new boys Krasnodar, the manager will be delighted that his attacking riches also kicked into gear after midfielder Jorginho had missed an early penalty.

Four points from two games is a solid start to their Champions League campaign and despite their run of draws Chelsea have now lost just once in 10 games this term.

Daddy M&N: Ole should be looking at a trophy this season with such squad, top players at sub, he definitely has no excuse a top 4 and trophy this season.

  6. 'Eye-opener Greenwood started over Rashford'published at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

The evidence from Mason Greenwood - what did we see last season? Score with either foot, he knew where the back of the net was. It was seamless.

It was also really good play by Pogba. Good driving run and weighted pass for Greenwood and a natural finish.

It was a bit of an eye-opener that he started the game ahead of Marcus Rashford but obviously Ole Gunnar Solskjær had seen enough through training to throw him in tonight and his finish has been the different.

Not too many goals to tell you about, Dortmund have been far from their best and are goalless against Zenit.

Carlos de Pena has put Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 up against Fernecvaros, and Club Bruges have equalised against Lazio. Hans Vanaken (4, Club Bruges) is the fourth player to score at least four Champions League goals for a Belgian side, after Tomasz Radzinski (5, Anderlecht), Alin Stoica (4, Anderlecht) and Aruna Dindane (4, Anderlecht).

Bresla: I've heard so much hype about Niegalsman and Leipzeg but I've yet to see it on the pitch. Perhaps it was all Werner's goals?

Nathan House: If I was an opposition manager facing United I would tell my CM’s to press Fred to within an inch of his life. Always frightens me when he’s under heavy pressure.

Colin Reardon: United look like the away team! Really struggling to get out of their own half and way too many misplaced passes!

I think United have been really solid this half, it was a wonderful goal by Greenwood. It was questionable whether it was offside but a good run by Greenwood in between the Leipzig centre-halves. United have just about deserved it.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Juventus 0-1 Barcelona

So far, so good for Barcelona as they lead thanks to that early Ousmane Dembele goal.

Juventus are really feeling the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Italians didn't manage a single shot on target in the first half.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

That half has zipped by. Mason Greenwood's goal the difference so far. United have been very organised.

  12. 'Maguire and Lindelof barely been tested'published at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton

United have been extremely comfortable. RB Leipzig are moving the ball quickly enough, they are trying to probe with those extra touches in the middle of the park but United are shuffling across and have really coped extremely well with the RB Leipzig forward line. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof have barely been tested.

  13. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Just one minute of added time in the first half. Julian Nagelsmann has got a job interview to get to afterwards judging by his attire.

Another brilliant tackle from Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was excellent against PSG last week.

He slides in perfectly to nick it off Angelino just as he was getting ready to shoot in the box.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Zenit St Petersburg

Zenit, and Dejan Lovren, have kept Dortmund quiet so far but in a flash Jadon Sancho plays in Erling Haaland.

Head down, left foot drawn back - he arrows the shot inches wide...

Shane O'Neil: Van De Beek's composure under pressure, his ability to make space for himself, and his passing accuracy is quite outstanding. Top player who makes things happen.

Robert Kaye: I can imagine Julian Nagelsmann's jacket ends up being the biggest talking point from this match.

Shekov: Emma, can we see your Thomas Tuchel reaction to Nagelsmann’s suit from the semi final again please :)

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

Aaron Wan-Bissaka holds his position as Leipzig build another attack through the middle.

He intercepts the pass out to the left but there's nobody up there when he clear it long, down the line.

United just defending at the moment.

  18. 'Greenwood is taking his chance'published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Interesting seeing all the changes that Ole Gunnar Solskjær made, questions as to whether they would work, would they be slick. It was risky leaving out the likes of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, players who have such an influence on this United team.

It's good to see other players get an opportunity and Greenwood taking his chance exceptionally well.

  19. Postpublished at 38 mins

United are camped in their half a little now. Dani Olmo has a shot from long range but it's blocked by Harry Maguire.

I know there has been criticism of Wan-Bissaka in an attacking sense, doesn't do enough, his final ball at times isn't good enough but defensively, I think he does should a good job for United.
