  2. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 90+2 mins

    Atalanta 0-5 Liverpool

Not quite your day, Duvan! Zapata has the ball in the net, spinning to fire in from a corner but he's offside.

  3. 'Perfect return to action for Jesus'published at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Manchester City 2-0 Olympiakos

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a comeback for Gabriel Jesus - the perfect return to first team action. He faces Pape Abou Cisse up, goes to shoot then fakes then drills it near post into the roof of the net. The keeper perhaps should do better diving backwards and down but the sheer pace of the ball finds its way past him. Pep Guardiola fist pumps the air - he knows how important that goal is because his team have been under pressure in this second half.

Liverpool and Manchester City are going to keep their 100% records intact then. One foot in the last 16 for both sides.

GOAL - Manchester City 2-0 Olympiakospublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Gabriel Jesus (81 mins)

    Back with a BANG!

Manchester City have been poor in the second half, maybe not poor, mediocre, but that's an absolute belter of a second goal!

Kevin de Bruyne plays it up to Gabriel Jesus, he's on the right-hand side of the area and runs at the defender, throws in a dummy, shifts it on to his right foot and then, from a really tight angle thunders it into the roof of the net!

    Brilliant goal.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 83 mins

    Atalanta 0-5 Liverpool

Duvan Zapata has done his best in the second half - that's another smashing strike from the striker which Alisson has to punch clear.

Atalanta then leave Mo Salah another 70 yards of Bergamo turf to sprint into and the only surprise is that at the end of a lungbuster he doesn't find the net. He shoots wide - but it's actually a fine save.

    Real Madrid 3-2 Inter Milan

Super subs. Rodrygo has put Real Madrid back in front against Inter with 10 minutes to go.

Vinicius Jr runs down the left and picks out his fellow Brazilian winger Rodrygo, who smashes a thunderbolt into the back of the net.

  8. 'City haven't got a rhythm going all night'published at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

When City's goal went in early we thought they would get four or five goals and it would be comfortable for City. But they just haven't got the rhythm going all night - is that credit to Olympiakos or is it just complacency from Man City?

  9. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

Gabriel Jesus spins in behind and is played over the top, he cuts on to his left foot and hits a low drive, it takes a double deflection and spins safe.

  10. CLOSE!published at 74 mins

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

You really wouldn't be surprised if Olympiakos nick an equaliser here.

A cracking run from Jose Holebas sees him fly into the area, he's got men over but hits a powerful sort of cross/shot across goal and it flies wide. Just needed a touch.

City then break well again, but Kevin de Bruyne again duffs his shot.

'City fans will be happy to see Jesus'published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Manchester 1-0 Olympiakos

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Man City fans will be happy to see Gabriel Jesus, he is a quality striker - a player who could be the successor, the heir to the throne of Sergio Aguero.

The changes are pretty much like for like. Ferran Torres moving out onto the right-hand side where Riyad Mahrez comes off and Jesus sits through the middle. Phil Foden coming off as well and Rodri comes on moving into that centre midfield role as Ilkay Gundogan moves slightly higher into that left-hand side.

  13. Inspired substitution!published at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

Red Bull Salzburg 2-2 Bayern Munich, FC Porto 3-0 Marseille

Masaya Okugawa has only been on the pitch for one minute and he's just equalised for Red Bull Salzburg against Bayern Munich, with a sweet finish after a fine pass through the heart of the Bayern defence from Andre Ramalho.

Elsewhere, Luis Diaz has added a third for FC Porto, who lead Marseille 3-0.

  14. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

Slashed! As wild as you ever see from Kevin de Bruyne, who leans back and fires a mile over from the edge of the area at the end of a fluid counter-attack.

  15. Real pegged back!published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Real Madrid 2-2 Inter Milan

Inter Milan have come back from 2-0 down and are now drawing 2-2 at Real Madrid.

Lautaro Martinez heads down into the path of Ivan Perisic, who hits a composed shot into the far corner.

Madrid are going to have two points from three games if they can't score a winner.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONS - Jesus onpublished at 68 mins

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

Manchester City have been very sleepy since half-time. Far from impressive - their last real chance was in the 40th minute.

But this might do the job - Gabriel Jesus is on, he replaces Riyad Mahrez.

Rodri also comes on for a very tired-looking Phil Foden.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 68 mins

    Atalanta 0-5 Liverpool

Duvan Zapata keeps Alisson honest with a hard, low shot across goal and the Liverpool keeper has to make a decent stop.

  19. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

Olympiakos continue to push hard, they've had 55% of the ball since the resumption and matched City effort for effort.
