    Porto 2-0 Marseille

Marseille, 2-0 down at Porto, think they have a chance to pull one back as the referee points to the spot.

But a VAR check shows the ball hit the face, not the arm, of Porto's Mateus Uribe.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 35 mins

    Atalanta 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool nearly put this game to bed before half time but Sadio Mane's curler is brilliantly turned away by a stretching Marco Sportiello.

There's more than a hint of Keegan's Newcastle about this team of Atalanta entertainers. They score goals but they leave a lot of space...

100 goals from centre-half. Some going.

  9. Ramos reaches century of goalspublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Real Madrid 2-1 Inter Milan

Sergio Ramos has just scored his 100th goal for Real Madrid and they lead Inter Milan 2-0.

The captain's perfectly weighted header from Toni Kroos' corner leaves Samir Handanovic with no chance.

But before we can even tell you about that goal, Lautaro Martinez has pulled one back for Inter with a great finish from near the penalty spot. It's 2-1 now.

  10. 'Olympiakos struggling to get away from City press'published at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Manchester City 1-0 Olympiakos

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Some really good football here from Phil Foden. Rafinha just doesn't know what to do with Foden, he doesn't know how to deal with him. It's all Man City, Olympiakos are struggling to get out of their own half and get away from the press of Man City.

    Diogo Jota (33 mins)

When you're on it, you are on it! That's a blistering finish, and a superb first touch. It's just a long ball lofted over the top, Diogo Jota tames it with one touch and then as the defender steadies himself Jota has already thrashed a half volley in at the near post.

Lashed in. He hit it so early.

  12. Porto double their advantagepublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Porto 2-0 Marseille

Porto are 2-0 up against Marseille in the other game in Manchester City's Group C.

It comes from the penalty spot and it is a great spot-kick from Sergio Oliveira. Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda goes the right way, but the penalty is too good.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 29 mins

    Atalanta 0-1 Liverpool

Off the bar! Ah, but the flag was up.

Duvan Zapata looked off as he broke beyond the Liverpool defence but the flag was very late in coming as the striker clipped it across Alisson and against the top of the bar. Jurgen Klopp is animated on the sidelines. 1-0 won't be enough here.

  15. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

    Real Madrid 1-0 Inter Milan

Real Madrid take the lead halfway through the first half.

Achraf Hakimi gets the assist as Karim Benzema puts Madrid ahead.

Sadly for Hakimi he joined Inter in the summer.

The Morocco international's backpass from the halfway line is intercepted by Benzema, who goes around goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and taps into an empty net.

  19. Bayern pull levelpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2020

Red Bull Salzburg 1-1 Bayern Munich

Robert Lewandowski thought he would have a chance to score a penalty for Bayern Munich, but the referee, after checking the evidence, changed his mind.

But the Polish striker doesn't have to wait long for an actual spot-kick. Thomas Muller's drag-back in the penalty area draws a foul from Red Bull Salzburg's Enock Mwepu and this time Lewandowski is able to take it, and he scores.

    Atalanta 0-1 Liverpool

Diogo Jota is a very good player. Good signing.

Andrew Robertson is then teed up on the left but can't keep his shot down and slams it into the seats.
