  1. goal

GOAL - Barcelona 1-3 PSGpublished at 70 mins

    Moise Kean

What a story we have here, PSG are taking Barcelona apart in their own back yard.

On-loan Moise Kean, who had a nightmare at Everton last season, is rebuilding his reputation in remarkable fashion with PSG, heading in unchallenged at the back post from Leandro Paredes' delivery.

    Barcelona 1-2 Paris St-Germain

Kylian Mbappe is the first player in Champions League history to score a brace away from home against Barcelona in the knockout rounds.

  3. CLOSE!published at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    Barcelona 1-2 Paris St-Germain

Kylian Mbappe in for the hat-trick...

...no. A thumping shot from the left is straight at Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

Mbappe sent Sergino Dest back across the Atlantic with that turn.

    RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpool

Nordi Mukiele is one who came off there and he looks forlorn in the stands. A disaster for that second goal.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 65 mins

    RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpool

Julian Nagelsmann knows he needs a goal and is making changes. On come Willi Orban and Yussuf Poulsen.

  6. goal

GOAL - Barcelona 1-2 PSGpublished at 65 mins

    Kylian Mbappe

    It's the boy wonder again.

Kylian Mbappe gets his second of the night, stroking in coolly from 10 yards out after Marc-Andre Ter Stegen parried Alessandro Florenzi's cross into the danger area.

    Thoroughly deserved for the visitors.

    RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpool

Mind you a goal now for the German side would make life interesting and Dani Olmo is in the area but his shot is turned away - good pressure from Thiago.

There's then a shout for handball against Thiago from the corner but a very fast VAR check says play on.

  9. CLOSE!published at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    Barcelona 1-1 Paris St-Germain

Ousmane Dembele works Keylor Navas but it's bread and butter for the PSG goalkeeper, dropping to his left to collect another weak effort from the Frenchman.

  10. Postpublished at 60 mins

    RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool have been completely gifted two goals. Nightmare stuff from RB Leipzig, who now have a sight of goal but Angelino slices wide.

'Leipzig mistake'published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpool

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Another mistake from Leipzig and it's a huge mistake because you can't allow Sadio Mane to go through on a one on one situation. It's a long hopeful ball up the field and Nordi Mukiele just doesn't deal with it. Clinical finish from Mane, takes a touch and sets himself, decides where he wants it, bottom left hand corner and it's a great finish.

  12. goal

GOAL - RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpoolpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    Sadio Mane (58 mins)

It's another horrorshow at the back! Two clangers and two goals for Liverpool.

That high line has been asking for trouble all night against this Liverpool frontline and one ball over the top has Nordi Mukiele running back towards his own goal. There's no real danger but he tries to swipe it clear and misses the ball altogether.

He can only watch from the floor as Sadio Mane gallops clear and finishes with ease.

  13. Postpublished at 57 mins

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Liverpool

Mohamed Salah scores his 24th goal for Liverpool in European competitions. Only Steven Gerrard (41) has scored more goals in European competitions for Liverpool.

Just to clarify as I have seen a few people asking on twitter - we are back to two legged games this season. The second leg of this one is on 10 March at Anfield - as it stands.

Could be at a neutral venue.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Liverpool

Can Leipzig find a response now? They had started the half well but that's a big goal in this tie.

  15. 'Clinical'published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Liverpool

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Mo Salah had an opportunity in the first half - this time he's clinical, goes through and picks his spot. Bottom right corner and he drills it hard and low. That's the goal Liverpool have been desperately seeking, that away goal that they wanted and they've got it.

  16. Postpublished at 55 mins

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Liverpool

Mo Salah now has more goals this season (24) than he managed in all of last season (23) in all competitions.

  17. goal

GOAL - RB Leipzig 0-1 Liverpoolpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    Mo Salah (53 mins)

    He's happy now though!

BIG goal for Liverpool and it's clinical from Mo Salah. It's a horrid backpass, Salah reads it, takes it into the area and just slots it into the back of the net.

    Dreadful ball back though.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 52 mins

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Ozan Kabak is down holding his face and that's a booking for Christopher Nkunku. It's an elbow to the jaw as well, drawing blood.

Jurgen Klopp is not happy down there.

  19. 'Leipzig are a dangerous team'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

RB Leipzig have started this half like they started the first one, they look up for it. Liverpool just need to hold their shape for the first 5-10 minutes of this half. Get organised, organise the shape and then build on it like they did in the first half. But Leipzig are a dangerous team.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2021

    Barcelona 1-1 Paris St-Germain

    This match!

PSG open up Barca at the back again, Moise Kean smacks a drive from the angle which takes a deflection and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has to readjust to claw away the ball.
