  2. Rough recent time of itpublished at 19:49 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund v Sevilla (20:00 GMT)

Not only have Sevilla stuttered in La Liga of late, they've also suffered a demoralising loss to Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

Leading 2-0 from the first leg, they were 2-1 up on aggregate deep in injury time when Gerard Pique popped up to level for the home side, who then won the game in extra-time. Brutal.

  3. A second last-16 exit in two years for Juventus?published at 19:46 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Juventus v Porto (1-2 on aggregate)

Juventus, third in Serie A, were eliminated in the last 16 of the Champions League in 2019-20, going out on away goals against French side Lyon.

Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, a five-time Champions League winner, was only a substitute for Juventus' 3-1 Serie A win over Lazio on Saturday, but boss Andrea Pirlo said the talisman was up for this one.

"Cristiano is fine. These are his matches. He's fired up," said Pirlo. "He's been able to rest and can't wait.

"We know the pressure is on us, but we don't hide. We have what it takes to go through, but we don't underestimate our opponents.

"However, we are Juventus and have to think about qualifying."

  4. Sevilla down but not outpublished at 19:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund v Sevilla (20:00 GMT)

Julen Lopetegui's side have lost four of their past five games - starting with the first leg - after winning the previous nine in all competitions.

Dortmund interim boss Edin Terzic is not reading too much into the more recent run, though.

"We expect a very good match from Sevilla, even if their last few results haven't been great," said Terzic.

"We are preparing for them to show a very different intensity in Dortmund. Sevilla will be a different team. We have to be better than we were in Sevilla."

  5. Dortmund big favouritespublished at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2021

Borussia Dortmund v Sevilla (20:00 GMT)

All the odds are stacked in Dortmund's favour tonight courtesy of that first-leg win.

The German side are unbeaten in their past seven home games in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Sevilla have never gone through in a European Cup/Champions League knockout tie after losing the first leg, going out against Real Madrid in 1957-58, Fenerbahce in 2007-08 and Bayern Munich in 2017-18.

Twenty minutes to go before kick-offs, so just enough time to squeeze in some goals from the weekend.

Barcelona are in action tomorrow with Atletico Madrid playing next Wednesday.

Here you can watch the best goals from the weekend's La Liga action including Luis Suarez's strike for Atletico Madrid in their derby game against Real Madrid.

Porto are aiming to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the second time in three seasons - and hoping for another last-16 win against Italian opposition.

Two years ago, Alex Telles (now of Manchester United fame) smashed in a 116th-minute penalty at a packed Dragao as Porto claimed a thrilling 3-1 victory after extra time to seal a 4-3 aggregate win over a Roma side who had won the first leg 2-1.

But there would be no repeat of 2003-04 when Jose Mourinho took them to an improbable European glory as they ran into an unstoppable Liverpool in the quarter-finals, with the Reds winning that one 6-1 on aggregate on their way to becoming champions.

Juventus v Porto (1-2 on aggregate)

One of the best battles tonight will see international and former club mates go head-to-head as 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo in the Juventus attack goes up against 38-year-old Pepe in the Porto defence.

The pair won three Champions League titles together at Real Madrid (with Ronaldo winning the trophy a further two times in his career) and helped Portugal to glory at Euro 2016.

Borussia Dortmund v Sevilla (20:00 GMT)

Haaland's fitness was in doubt at one stage after going off during the recent game with Bayern Munich with a cut ankle. He had already scored twice in that game - both inside the first 10 minutes. Bayern came back to win 4-2, though, because that's what Bayern do.

Sadly for Dortmund, they are definitely without Jadon Sancho tonight. He is due to be out for several weeks with a muscle injury, which will also keep him out of the upcoming England internationals.

Hopefully, he'll be back in April.

Porto scored in the first minute of each half in the first leg to edge ahead in their Champions League tie against Juventus.

Mehdi Taremi pounced on Rodrigo Bentancur's poor back pass to slide in and convert after only 63 seconds.

Juventus were being outplayed but Adrien Rabiot saw an acrobatic effort pushed away, and Moussa Marega stroked home 19 seconds into the second half.

But Federico Chiesa pulled a goal back on 82 minutes heading into the return leg of the last-16 tie.

Erling Braut HaalandImage source, Getty Images

The star of the first leg was undoubtedly Erling Braut Haaland, who seems to make headlines weekly at the moment.

He scored twice in Dortmund's 3-2 victory in Spain.

The striker has scored 18 goals in 13 Champions League appearances, meaning he is closing in on another record. The quickest a player has ever reached 20 goals is 24 appearances, achieved by Tottenham's Harry Kane.

Tonight, Haaland could become the first player in the history of the competition to score two or more goals in four consecutive appearances.
