'The highs and lows - a club with real soul' - Best reactionpublished at 23:00 British Summer Time 4 May 2021
FT: Man City 2-0 PSG (Agg: 4-1)
Job done. City's wait for a first Champions League final appearance is over.
Their mature and ruthless display against a lacklustre and petulant PSG sees them through. Tomorrow we find out if they will face Chelsea or Real Madrid in Istanbul.
But for now, here is the best reaction from a magnificent night for Pep Guardiola's side...
Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on BT Sport:"This is a huge moment, people say this club has not got history at European level and it hasn't, but it has a real soul - people have been through the highs and lows.
"It's a process and I'm really pleased for the fans. It's a huge moment and fully deserved, but it's not done. This is not a club that wants to get to finals, this is a club that wants to win finals.
Former Man City defender Nedum Onuoha on BBC Radio 5 Live: "I was at Wembley in 1999 watching that Division Two play-off final. And now I'm watching the team which I support literally control the Champions League semi-final against a side who was in the final the year before. It's still very surreal to be honest."

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola:"It is for all of us and the club. I'm incredibly proud and my first thoughts are with the players who didn't play today. They all deserved to play, everyone has made a contribution and now it is time to enjoy it. We have to win the league and we have two or three weeks to prepare for the final."
