Gary: PSG won't get back into this without something special (Mbappe), it's not just the wrong passes but devoid of ideas or surprise in the face of an excellent team.
Harish: I don't see PSG coming back to this game. Even if they score two, City can easily score one or two more. Maybe this is indeed City's year. How many CL passes did it take to get to the final in 5 years under Pep? 100,000?

You'd expect City to be on it again in the second half. They're very close to where they need to be in that Champions League final. The only way PSG are going to get into this game is with a little bit of magic or if City switch off and I can't see the latter happening. So I think one of their big players has to do something very unusual to get back into this game. I can't see it to be honest with you.

Jordan: Big half needed from PSG. City defending looks drastic and fair few last minute blocks, in with a chance!!
El Papito M&N: Pochettino looks so unbothered like he's not even interested, he's got poor body language.

PSG won't go away. They'll keep figuring out spaces, Neymar and Di Maria will keep getting on the ball, Verratti will keep supporting his forwards. City are in a position right now to get to the final, but there's a long way to go yet.

Maurice: I’ll take that! We’ve looked pretty comfortable and always a threat on the counter. Dias and Stones have been utterly immense so far! 3/4 of the way there boys!!
Phil McNulty

So far so good for Manchester City. Holding firm at the back and a couple of threats of their own towards half-time.
PSG a threat but lacking a cutting edge and running out of time. How long until Mauricio Pochettino feels he has to use Kylian Mbappe?

The pitch bashers will be pleased. Looks like the City staff are out in force, clearing the rest of the hail that fell before kick-off.

Forget Grealish, Foden will be the future of England for years to come.
Al, Heywood
Foden on the move reminds me of Johan Cruyff, his body shape and the way he glides past players with the ball under his spell — he’s such a talent.

Good game. Really good first half. Both sides really going for it and wanting to win it and score goals. City at the moment just edging it for me. PSG coming forward just picking the wrong pass at the wrong moment, but they have to be watched very carefully because they've got all the quality in the world to score goals.

Jack: How good are City. How good is Phil Foden. Superb match of football. City without a doubt the best team in the world.
Man City 1-0 PSG (Agg: 3-1)
Halfway there. Or three-quarters there to be more accurate.
PSG need to score twice to stop City reaching the final.
Don't go too far. You won't want to miss the upcoming 45 minutes.
Man City 1-0 PSG (Agg: 3-1)
That was almost the moment!
Mahrez finds space on the right side of the box for a low shot that is blocked, before Silva's curled effort deflects wide.
Man City 1-0 PSG (Agg: 3-1)
City are producing the kind of display that they are used to facing most weeks in the Premier League. It id designed to frustrate and hit on the break.
Job done so far.

Dias had to make that challenge. I think it actually hit his head, but anything will do, as long as it doesn't reach the danger area.

Can someone tell Phil Foden he can't velcro the ball to his boots? Absolutely outrageous control of the ball!

John Stones and Ruben Dias have been superb so far. The former gets in front of a Neymar shot to block and then the latter follows up with a headed block to stop the follow-up.
It results in a corner but City deal with that too. It's committed, disciplined and doing just the job.
Man City 1-0 PSG (Agg: 3-1)
Just give Phil Foden whatever England shirt he wants this summer. He glides past a PSG player, two, three. The attack fizzles out after he sends the ball on, but that's not on him. Some player.
Man City 1-0 PSG (Agg: 3-1)
Five minutes to go until the break now. So crucial that City don't concede before the break.
