England 3-0 Republic of Ireland
England boss Gareth Southgate, speaking to ITV Sport: "We used the ball very well, created a lot of chances. We could have been more comfortable if we had taken some of those chances but overall very pleased.
"I thought we were a bit slow at the start but it is understandable because it is a team that has not worked together a lot. But over time our attack down the wings was good."
On Jack Grealish: "The two players in those roles, Jadon Sancho and Jack, they have the freedom to go either side of the pitch and create overloads I thought they both did that very well."
Can Mason Mount and Grealish play in the same team? "Of course. There are a lot of other players in the squad as well. We have a lot of competition for places.
"You saw them in two different roles today, they can both play a lot of different roles. Winks did well and Saka looked a lot more confident than he did in his last game.

A really confident performance from England and one in which, after the first five or 10 minutes, you felt they found their feet, they found their way of playing and they found the confidence to press.
The back line also realised they could handle what Ireland threw at them and I think from there, there was only going to be one winner.
Outstanding performance from Jack Grealish again, proving the difference. When he wants to wander and when he wants to drift, he can really make a difference. And boy, didn't he take his chance today.

Rachel T: Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but in this current crazy, exhausting climate - a nice uncomplicated England win is very welcome indeed.
Irrespective of the opposition, England have been free-flowing and exciting to watch tonight. Not looking forward to us going back to playing seven defenders again on the weekend.

England 3-0 Republic of Ireland
England midfielder Jack Grealish, speaking to ITV Sport: "It was good to get my second start. I thought we controlled the game well and obviously it is nice to get the win.
"It is what I have been trying to do this season, trying to score more. I got the assist for Jadon and I am happy with that. I could have scored and assisted a couple more but hopefully I will save those ones.
"Training with these guys day in day out for two weeks it steps up everything about your game, it has done for me. I have been trying to take as much as I can off them and hopefully it can help me.
"I want to play as much as possible - all I've got to do is try to impress the manager as much as I can. Since I have been here he has been brilliant with me, talking to me and telling me what he wants me to do."

Harry Maguire has done well tonight - the whole back three have done well. The goal was important for rebuilding his confidence. Actually, Maguire could've scored a few goals from corners here tonight.
