Former Sheff Utd and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Dani Ceballos has mopped up and got in some good areas. He's looked confident and assured on the ball. It's hard to just spot the simple ones at times but he's done that well.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:28 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Wolves 1-0 Fulham

Fulham break and should be level.

Ademola Lookman escapes trouble and plays a lovely pass through to Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian holds the ball up and feeds Aboubakar Kamara free inside the area, but he side-foots a tame shot straight at Rui Patricio.

  3. Pass, pass, passpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Arsenal 2-0 Sheffield United

There were 19 passes in the build-up to Arsenal's second goal, the most before a goal in the Premier League this season.

I've been saying this for a while: Bukayo Saka is the best thing to happen to Arsenal since the Invincibles. Such a talented player and only 19 as well. If anything is gonna get them top four this season, it's him. Forget Aubameyang, forget Lacazette, Saka is Arsenal's star player now.

    Arsenal 2-0 Sheffield United

The good news I guess is that the Blades are going to go into the international break with a new £25m striker to come in and just one point adrift of safety.

The bad news is they really, really do not look like scoring a goal at the moment. Plenty for Chris Wilder and Alan Knill to work on.

  6. Quickfire doublepublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Arsenal 2-0 Sheffield United

There were only 190 seconds between Arsenal's goals.

  7. 'Sheer quality'published at 15:22 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Arsenal 2-0 Sheffield United

    Michael Brown
Former Sheff Utd and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was an individual goal, he drove towards the edge of the area and he hits the ball nice and early across the keeper. It's a fantastic run and finish. That's sheer quality.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Wolves 1-0 Fulham

A double change for the visitors.

Off come Ivan Cavaleiro and Joe Bryan.

Aboubakar Kamara enters the action, as does Ademola Lookman for his Fulham debut.

Few signs of Fulham responding and get back into the game.

  10. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-0 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Nicolas Pepe (64 mins)

He doesn't show it anywhere near often enough but that's what the thick end of £70m can do. There's no danger when Nicolas Pepe gets the ball on the halfway line but he plays a smart one-two and then just runs at the Blades defence, Too sharp, they can't get near him and then he's able to roll a shot from the edge of the area which beats the dive of Aaron Ramsdale and goes in off the inside of the post.

Nothing happened for an hour, and then Arsenal put it to bed.

    Arsenal 1-0 Sheffield United

United send on John Fleck, he scored a cracking equaliser in this fixture last season.

    Arsenal 1-0 Sheffield United

    Michael Brown
Former Sheff Utd and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a fantastic goal - the build-up play and the one twos. They just stand the ball up and it's a simple header for Bukayo Saka.

  13. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-0 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Bukayo Saka (61 mins)

Well there we go! A goal had not looked at all likely but then Arsenal suddenly find their game. Lovely pass and move breaks down the Blades defence. Mo Elneny to Hector Bellerin, who is able to stand up a fine cross.

Bukayo Saka is free at the far post and heads into the back of the net, Blessed relief for the Gunners.

Questioning Arteta already, wow. Yes he is prioritising making Arsenal hard to beat. We've had over 10 years of being a soft touch so it's about time.

    Chris, Bradford.

  16. goal

GOAL - Wolves 1-0 Fulhampublished at 55 mins

    Pedro Neto

    That is more like it.

Wolves threatened a minute previously and break the deadlock.

Fulham fail to clear the ball as Leander Dendoncker's shot is blocked, falling for Pedro Neto on the edge of the box.

The Portuguese winger takes a touch and drills an unstoppable finish into the far corner.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:11 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Wolves 0-0 Fulham

Fulham cut open for the first time in the match.

It is Wolves' main man Raul Jimenez who is in on goal, holding off the challenge of Maxime Le Marchand but Alphonse Areola stays big to deny the Mexican.

  18. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Sheffield United

Better. Sharper. Dani Ceballos turns the ball round the corner first time and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is inches away from controlling it. Would have been in.

  19. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Sheffield United

David McGoldrick starts a fluent attack for the visitors butit runs out of steam on the left wing and comes to nothing. Rhian Brewster can't get into this team quickly enough. They haven't scored a goal yet this season.
