Instant impact. Takumi Minamino picks it up deep in midfield, beats Douglas Luiz with pace and the Brazilian has to pull him back and goes in the book.
Aston Villa thump champions Liverpool 7-2 just hours after Tottenham hammer Man Utd 6-1
Anger, laughter and shock were just some of the emotions on an incredible night

Under way!

Liverpool are making a change but it's not at the base of midfield - on comes forward Takumi Minamino for Naby Keita.

Here we go, Jurgen Klopp has a stride on him as they re-emerge. Score first in this half and...
You'll get your chance to have your say on this game soon enough. There could be a few more England defenders staring at some low scores...
A look back at the player ratings from BBC Sport readers for Manchester United's players in the 6-1 defeat earlier and it isn't pleasant reading for Harry Maguire or Luke Shaw.
Both got ratings lower than two and from what we can see that is the first time any player from any team has had such low ratings for a Premier League game this season. Grim.
Villa are second in the table as it stands.

Liverpool are missing Sadio Mane - if he was playing, with the chances they've created, it would be a different game.
Both sides had six efforts on target in that excellent first half. Again shows the value of a good keeper and Emiliano Martinez is certainly that.

Nobody expected that but you've got to give credit to Aston Villa - they have been outstanding.
Ollie Watkins thoroughly deserves his hat-trick, he's always in and around the six-yard box looking to score goals. Ross Barkley has made a big impact on the game alongside Trezeguet and Jack Grealish.

We can point to having a lot of absent talent, but it doesn't excuse this kind of shoddy capitulation. I cannot for the life of me see the insistence on this high line. You've got the same watertight back four who have now conceded 8 in 4 games. Bin it. Now.
Kevin, Blackpool.
Klopp should offer his resignation after this. An utter disgrace of a performance.

I'd love to be in that Liverpool dressing room because the way Jurgen Klopp was half way down the touchline ready to get into the changing room, he was not happy.
Everyone else on the Spurs 6-1, Villa 6-1 double at the bookies? I might retire live on air here.

Fair play to Dean Smith, he's got it spot on tactically & gone at Liverpool from off. Pressure Adrian and he'll make mistake after mistake.
Craig
I'm not sure why Klopp hasn't made a substitution at 2-1 or 3-1 clearly getting overrun in midfield. Hendo or Milner need to come on.

Andrew Robertson now has a shot well tipped over. How confident are we that Liverpool WON'T win this?
It just looks so open.

I can't recall a team ripping Liverpool up like this for, oooh, ages. Not even Barcelona in the Messi game were getting chances as frequently as this. Trezeguet now has a shot on goal after again, a midfield runner having all the space in the world. Fabinho is meant to be the deepest mifielder but something is amiss.

The premier league may not have all the best players in the world, like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Ramos and Lewandowski but it's definitely the most competitive league in the world.
