Fresh from helping England Under-21s qualify for the European Championships in midweek, former Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon has started a loan spell at Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
I am sure Fulham fans would have welcomed him back for another spell at Craven Cottage.

Khun Kai: The matches at the bottom are better later in the season. Now it looks like both teams have all the time in the world to save their season.
Life comes at you fast, though, Khun. If I was either of these sides I wouldn't have Louis Armstrong playing in the dressing room.

Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Sheff Utd have now gone 328 minutes without a goal at Bramall Lane in the Premier League.
Go warm yourself up, Rhian lad.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Well, that wasn't dreadful.
No goals, but there could have been some.
We go again in 15.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Knocking Sander Berge off the ball is a serious job. He drives to the byline, with a Fulham man flailing after him, before digging out a cross that is too high for his team-mates in the box.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
The free-kick is hit by Mitrovic, and well-struck too. It beats the wall but not Aaron Ramsdale, who doesn't have to move to allow the ball to rest in his midriff. It's the first real meaningful attacking involvement for Mitro so far.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Excellent stuff from Anguissa on the edge of the box, hurdling a few challenges before being felled by another for a dangerous free-kick just outside the home box.

Willem Mevius: Sheffield Utd are playing well but have been lacking a goalscorer. Now they have one and they keep him on the bench??
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
United thought this was the breakthrough. But the flag is up quickly to rule out what would have been an own goal from Tosin Adarabioyo, sliding in to prevent what would have been a certain tap-in for McBurnie from Berge's low cross.
Berge moved a tad early, though. VAR confirms the assistant's call.

Fulham have got to engage. They can't just stand and mark space in the box. I can see now why they have been conceding goals. They have got to man-mark - space never scores.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Chris Wilder's side have had four shots on target in the first half so far, as many as in their previous four first halves combined in the Premier League.
They are certainly on top at the moment. If they don't capitalise they may very well regret it.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Just seen a replay of the McBurnie chance. He headed it onto his own shoulder. Made the save a lot easier to make.
The Blades continue to push forward, and they carve out another chance for McBurnie, who steers a first-time shot across goal and wide from a Stevens cross.
Flag was up, though.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Rhian Brewster will be sat in the stands now, wishing that the McBurnie chance had come his way instead.
Meanwhile, United continue to push forward and cause a bit of chaos in the box with a long throw that bounces but evades a goal-bound touch from the home side.

Fantastic save from Alphonse Areola and it needed to be. Oli McBurnie had a free header and that was a fantastic save. A let-off for Fulham. Sheffield United seem to be getting at their goalkeeper too easily at the moment.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Areola drawn into another save, this one more routine. Sander Berge drives a shot from 20 yards that skids off the turf but is claimed by the diving keeper.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
Should be 1-0.
Oli McBurnie is handed a chance that he should bury, with a cross from the right finding him between two defenders and just a few yards out. He makes contact but heads it straight at Alphonse Areola, who palms the ball away.
There, in a nutshell, is why the Blades are struggling this season.
Sheffield United 0-0 Fulham
What a waste. Fulham break up an attack from the home side and set off towards goal. Antonee Robinson carries it and finds Aleksandar Mitrovic, but his pass inside is behind his advancing team-mates and ends the opportunity.
It has been that kind of game so far. Moments where you think something might happen, and then it very much doesn't.
