James: I’d like to see Pepe for Laca then move Auba central - would solve both creativity and finishing

Ben: Please dont let this be another goalless draw.

Leicester hoping for a Puel-esque smash and grab. I think this is one time I can say I'm glad the fans aren't there to see this

  4. 'Lacazette is getting stuck in'published at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Alexandre Lacazette is crashing round the pitch like a battering ram at the moment. He's getting stuck in and shoulder charging people. He went into Johnny Evans with intent, he has a glance back to see that Evans is coming and it's difficult as a centre-back you come into the air to attack the ball and once you leave the ground you are vulnerable and if a player wants to collide with you, you can end up going over the top of them and landing on your shoulder or you neck. It can be quite uncomfortable.

    Lucky, lucky boy.

On a yellow card, Hector Bellerin slides in on James Justin, nowhere near the ball and taking down the man.

Referee Craig Pawson says no yellow card.

Why not, I ask? As do Justin and James Maddison and Brendan Rodgers.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 60 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

Here comes the Leicester change and here comes trouble for Arsenal.

Goal machine Jamie Vardy on for Dennis Praet.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 58 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

Another booking, this time for Alexandre Lacazette for a deliberate run into Jonny Evans who had jumped to win a header.

An awkward landing for the Northern Irishman but no lasting damage done.

A puff of the cheeks from James Maddison, but the Leicester midfielder curls his free-kick over the wall and over the bar.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

Leicester's Foxes have their tails up at the moment.

Alexandre Lacazette bundles into Nampalys Mendy and the visitors have a free-kick 25-30 yards out.

    More attacking threat from Leicester.

James Maddison is found by Dennis Praet's pass but the shot deflects over.

  11. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

For the second time in the game, James Maddison tries his luck from a long way out.

This effort is from the halfway line, David Beckham-esque, it has good trajectory and is heading for the net, but Bernd Leno can skip back and get the ball to avoid any embarrassment.

  12. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Youri Tielemans trips Granit Xhaka.

Lucky to get away with that, the Leicester man is already on a booking.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 48 mins

Niyi: Stubborn, stubborn Leicester!! pretending not to hear Arsenal knocking. Open this door, goals want to enter

Andrew: Arsenal in need of creativity in midfield A player like Ozil. Any ideas?

If Leicester play this long ball stuff against their next opponents Leeds, they will be facing a torrent of counter attacks.

Arsenal are lacking that killer ball into the forwards. Arteta should bring on Oz.....never mind.

  20. 'Both managers will want more'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's not been massive amounts to write home about in terms of goal-mouth action. We've had a disallowed goal and a bit of probing from Arsenal. They've probably looked the most likely to do anything in terms of creating a goal scoring opportunity. Good passing and the movement of the wing-backs with Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin at full-back. They've been good attacking options for Arsenal.

Both managers will want more. Neither team has hit the full heights we know they can. Leicester have been cagey with this very deep approach, without their main striker pressing high up, it's a difficult game for them to break done. Likewise, Mikel Arteta will be asking if Arsenal have the creativity to break Leicester down.
