Another corner for Arsenal, they've gained a few in quick succession.
Again, they cannot make anything of it.

Wesley Fofana threw himself at the ball. Really exciting young defender, interested to see how he does tonight. He gets out to Bukayo Saka, pulls it onto his left foot and he knows he wants to pull the trigger and really throws himself in the way of it.
Arsenal 0-0 Leicester
Arsenal starting to get a foothold in the game.
Defender Gabriel trots forward and almost makes a dream come true with an overhead kick, but cannot get enough purchase on it.

American Football analogy from Guy Mowbray on MOTD comms.
Something about a quarterback to a wide receiver.
Gone over my head, tbh.
Arsenal 0-0 Leicester
Great defending from Jonny Evans.
David Luiz picks out the run of Hector Bellerin, who cannot really take it in his path.
The Spaniard eventually gets it under control but the cutback is cut out by the Leicester defender close to his own goal line.

Granit Xhaka scuffs a free-kick into the wall.
£15 you've paid to watch that effort.
Arsenal 0-0 Leicester
Free-kick is 25 yards out, to the right.

Now Arsenal have a free-kick in a decent position after Youri Tielemans bundles into Alexandre Lacazette.

The linesman's flag was up very early. There's a flick on, there's no touch. Granit Xhaka starts on the goal line and is coming out from the goal line to 6-yard-box line, whether or not he dangles a foot at the ball and makes contact because when there was a flick from Alexandre Lacazette, Xhaka was definitely offside, but in my view I don't know if he touched the ball or was impeding another player from dealing with it. It has been ruled as offside.
Arsenal 0-0 Leicester
James Maddison came close and Arsenal have a goal disallowed, been a very bright start to this game.
Arsenal 0-0 Leicester
Arsenal get a corner and think they have scored as Alexandre Lacazette flicks a header in towards the far post.
But a couple of Gunners players are situated in an offside position and the assistant's flag goes up immediately.
Excellent decision.
Arsenal 0-0 Leicester
What a start this would have been!
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno comes dashing way off his line but his attempted clearance is poor, failing straight to the feet of James Maddison.
He is the last person you want the ball to drop to.
The Leicester man takes a touch around 40-45 yards out, looks up and aims a left-footed strike which sails just wide of the post.
A real let-off for the Gunners.

Mesut Ozil shouldn't be anywhere near the Arsenal first team. He's not doing what Mikel Arteta wants him to do - his training hasn't been good enough and he doesn't work hard enough for the side. If you look at Arsenal's results in recent years against top-six sides, they've always carried Ozil as a passenger.
Arsenal are building something good and special with loads of exciting young talent and these players are learning from Thomas Partey and players who are putting a shift in. The coaching staff are getting these players to work hard because they're exciting young players - if Ozil then came in, what do you do with him? You'd have to rip up the rule book and ask him to be a passenger again.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers on Sky Sports: "Jamie Vardy has trained the last few days and looked good so he's a possibility.
"It was too much of a risk for him to start with so many games to come. I am sure he will play a part tonight."

Jamie Vardy has scored 10 Premier League goals against Arsenal - only Wayne Rooney, with 12, has netted more against the Gunners.
Going to have to do it off the bench if he wants to add to that tally tonight.

I think Thomas Partey is one of the most exciting signings from the transfer window. There has been so much hype about him and then for him to show what he can do in that game against Rapid Vienna and everyone now starting to believe that he could be the catalyst for Arsenal this season. It's amazing to see him in the starting line-up today.
Arsenal need that one player in the middle of the park to dictate play. They've always had fire power going forward but that centre midfield position is a huge one for them to now have, so they can build and break up play. His passing range is fantastic.
