    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

Toby Alderweireld comes off worse in a clash with Ashley Barnes and is receiving treatment. Looks like the Tottenham defender has a nasty cut close to his eye.

Jose Mourinho is glowering. Hard to tell if it is because of that challenge or that he is wearing a coat that is far too thin to fend off the cold Burnley wind.

Typically, as I wax lyrical about Tanguy Ndombele he does play a bit of a stinker of a ball through the middle that is far too heavy for any of his team-mates to chase.

    A one off.

Ndombele has changed things around at Tottenham. Was at the centre of a public criticism under Jose and now is a main part of his plans. He has done really well.

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

One of my favourite things so far this season has been Tanguy Ndombele finding his mojo at Tottenham.

Some of his passing has been brilliant and case in example now as he turns in the middle of the pitch and plays a beauty of a ball behind Charlie Taylor to send Lucas Moura away.

Moura charges towards goal but his shot takes a deflection on its way into Nick Pope's hands.

Midntro: If Bielsa were at Burnley, he would have subbed off Brownhill and end up winning the game!

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

A bit of concern for Burnley with how easy Harry Kane is able to get in behind on the right. Kane isn't exactly renowned for his pace but is first to Toby Alderweireld's ball but he can't get his shot on target.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 2 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

Barely a minute on the clock and we have a yellow card already as Josh Brownhill is penalised for bringing down Tanguy Ndombele.

Son Heung-min whips the free kick into the box but Burnley clear.

Right then, on with the next game.

A good point for West Brom but they remain winless, can Burnley get their first three points of the season? We're under way at Turf Moor.

  10. 'I wanted him to stay'published at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Brighton 1-1 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

More from Slaven Bilic, speaking to BBC Sport about the departure of Ahmed Hegazi: "I wanted him to stay. He has experience, he is a top professional. I wanted him to stay and he wanted to stay and then something happened and then he is off although I had assurances from the club that he would stay.

"That happened yesterday. We spoke on Tuesday, Wednesday, not about it a lot. When we practiced the shape and everything Hegazi was in the team on Saturday.

"Of course I am not pleased. I am really disappointed because we need players. There is of course the economic side but we are a football club."

  11. Grant 'a proper centre forward'published at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Brighton 1-1 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom boss Slaven Bilic, speaking to BBC Sport "To come here and that second half performance made me happy and made me proud. If it was 10 more minutes I had he feeling it was us who would score a second goal.

"I said to be more braver and to risk a bit more in their box. Show determination. We passed so many good balls in the second half in this pockets that was hurting them.

"The whole package beyond the point makes it a very good result for us.

"To come here and produce a very good performance gives us as newcomers a really good platform to believe."

On Karlan Grant: "If I had to pick one player to score it is him because he is our striker. He took the goal really well. In the second half he and the whole team was very dangerous. He took his goal really well, he didn't panic, he didn't want to shoot just for the sake of shooting. He acted like a proper centre forward."

  12. Postpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Brighton 1-1 West Brom

    Interesting from Slaven Bilic.

He is delighted with the result but clearly unhappy with the departure of Ahmed Hegazi, who he said was in his plans for today as late as yesterday before the defender moved to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.

Harry Kane is just two goals short of becoming only the third player for Tottenham to score 200 times in all competitions, after Bobby Smith (208) and Jimmy Greaves (266).

  14. 'We have to learn from it'published at 19:45 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Brighton 1-1 West Brom

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Graham Potter, speaking to BBC Sport: "Frustrated, certainly the second half.

"Credit to West Brom I think they responded well. They played better in the second half and pushed us back and they deserved their equaliser. We have to learn from that.

"We created some good chances in the first half and with a bit more luck we could have had a bigger lead than 1-0.

"We have to analyse why we were not so good in the second half, why our performance dipped a bit but now we have to give credit for the opposition for raising their performance.

"We have had some good performances this season. There is more to do, we have to improve but something to learn from and build from."

  16. 'It just didn't happen today'published at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Brighton 1-1 West Brom

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton's Tariq Lamptey: "We worked hard. I thought we did enough to win the game but ultimately didn't take our chances.

"In games you can push and push and it doesn't come, on another day we could have got the goal.

"They are a quality team and they have quality players who can produce moments of brilliance so credit to them.

"It just didn't happen today, we will try and tighten up at the back and move onto the next game."

  17. Clarets to stun Spurs?published at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Burnley v Tottenham (20:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Ex-Liverpool defender

I still can't quite believe how Tottenham threw away a 3-0 lead against West Ham with less than 10 minutes remaining, and only picked up a point.

That just showed how Spurs are still something of an enigma and, as dangerous as they are going forward, they are still vulnerable at the back.

I think Burnley can capitalise, if they take the game to Spurs. The Clarets are getting players back from injury, and I'm backing them to get their first win of the season.

    Prediction: 2-1

  18. Postpublished at 19:30 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

We'll have all the reaction to that draw but with today's late game also coming up in just 30 minutes we will also build up to that too.

Dan Middlehurst: Considering how badly we played in that first half, I'll take a point all day long. Much-improved in the second half. And Karlan Grant got off the mark.

  20. 'We showed good character'published at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 26 October 2020

    Brighton 1-1 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom goalscorer Karlan Grant: "It was a game of two halves. First half was not so great but second half we definitely showed good character.

"It was hard up there playing against the three but I was grateful for the opportunity and to put it away. It is great to get a goal so early [into my West Brom career].

"Every point matters. We want to win games but hopefully we can get the three points next week.

"The manager said at half time to play with no fear. I think we played more on the front foot and took more crosses."
