  1. Big chance for Rangers to stretch their leadpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Rangers v Livingston (15:00)

Rangers are gunning for a 15th game in a row unbeaten this afternoon and the chance to move six points clear of Celtic may well give them an extra skip in their step.

  2. 'Defensive partnership needed' at Celticpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

I don't think Neil Lennon knows his best defensive partnership between the five he's got. Whether it's a three of a four at the back they haven't looked comfortable.

I thought the referee got all the penalty decisions correct today, I think Neil's comments are more from frustration at his team's defensive performance.

  4. Celtic 'too sloppy' defensivelypublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    FT: Aberdeen 3-3 Celtic

Speaking on BBC Sportsound, Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "I'm disappointed we haven't won it. We showed the character to come back twice and we then lose that late goal. Defensively, we were poor but attacking it was good, particularly in the second half. It's too sloppy defensively though."

    On referee Willie Collum...

"I thought the referee had a very poor game today, decision making, being influenced by his assistants and some of his decisions were baffling."

    On Celtic's defensive issues...

"There's a little bit of fragility there at the minute and when you score three goals away from home you should win the game. It will be something that will come with time, we've still got a number of players to come back and they will make us a lot stronger as a squad."

  5. Aberdeen 'deserved something'published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    FT: Aberdeen 3-3 Celtic

Speaking on BBC Sportsound, Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes said: "I'm just glad we got something out of it, it was no more than we deserved. Celtic dominated the ball but we kept the opportunities to a minimum. But I wanted us to take part in the game more. I'm disappointed with a couple of the goals we've conceded, we need to be more calm in those situations. But I'm delighted with the spirit of the team."

    On the three penalties given...

"I think the referee got all the penalty decisions right today. I think it's up to Lewis (Ferguson) to miss before we change the taker. Lewis was outstanding, he was the heartbeat of out team."

On playing Celtic again next week in the Scottish Cup semi-final...

"We feel we can win the game, I thought that before today and now I feel it even more so. We're starting to get a few more back, so hopefully we'll have a few more for the game next week. But as a team we'll be ready for Celtic."

  6. First start of the season for Defoepublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Rangers v Livingston (15:00)

Steven Gerrard makes five changes from Thursday's Europa League win over Standard Liege, with Jermain Defoe making his first start of the season.

Defender Filip Helander returns to the starting line-up after being on the bench in Belgium. There's also a place in defence for Calvin Bassey after the 20-year-old impressed when he came on in midweek.

Iani Hagi and Joe Aribo also start.

Leon Balogun, Borna Barisic, Scott Arfield, Glen Kamara and Alfredo Morelos all drop to the bench.

    Quote Message

I think the general performance was better from Celtic today. The defensive side has let them down even after going to the back four. Duffy and Ajer were left exposed several times.

  9. Four changes for Livingstonpublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Rangers v Livingston (15:00)

Livingston make four changes from their 3-1 defeat to Kilmarnock.

On-loan Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie can't play against his parent club, so Max Stryjek makes his second Premiership appearance having kept a clean sheet against Rangers in August.

Ciaron Brown, Craig Sibbald and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas are also in, with Scott Robinson and Alan Forrest dropping to the bench. Scott Tiffoney doesn't make the squad altogether.

I thought Aberdeen would try to close it down in the second half but both sides showed a lot of grit and character. It opened up totally and was a magnificent game of football

  13. 'Very poor from Celtic'published at 13:54 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

The penalty is the right decision but Celtic were all over the place at the back. Ajer has left far too much room behind him all day. Very poor from Celtic.

  14. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 3-3 Celticpublished at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

That's it. A six-goal thriller leaves Celtic in second place but now three points behind Rangers, who are in action shortly.

Aberdeen stay fourth, one point behind Hibs with a game in hand.

Apologies for the slight delay in getting the final score up, there was a lot going on and my fingers were flagging.

A foul from Callum McGregor and Celtic have a free kick 22 yards out.

If home fans were in the ground, they'd be getting excited about this opportunity.

Lewis Ferguson shoots high and wide.

If home fans were in the ground, there would be a lot of moaning and groaning.

A lot of pressure on Ryan Christie there and he's taken it really well. I think it's a penalty, there's enough contact
