What a strike that was! He gets himself in a pocket of space, shifts it out of his feet and curls it around the defender. They needed something special and Griffiths has done it.

    Aberdeen 2-1 Celtic

A big chance for Sam Cosgrove to make it three for the Dons as the substitute striker charges through the middle and swats Diego Laxalt out of the way.

The grounded Celtic defender recovers to stick in a toe just as Cosgrove was about to shoot.

Where was the Celtic central defence there?

  9. 'Tragic defending'published at 13:25 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Aberdeen 2-1 Celtic

    Quote Message

It was a poor, poor goal for Celtic to give away. Shane Duffy down the left-hand side should be dealing with it much better, and then what is Ajer doing sitting off Sam Cosgrove? I can't believe that. No way is it handball, it's just tragic defending.

  10. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 2-1 Celticpublished at 13:22 Greenwich Mean Time 25 October 2020

    Ryan Hedges

Aberdeen lead again after a blunder from Shane Duffy. The Celtic defender can only play an attempted clearance against Scott Wright, who runs on to feed Sam Cosgrove.

With Kristoffer Ajer standing off, Cosgrove has time to turn and fire off a shot inside the box. Scott Bain makes the save but the ball pops up and bounces in off the knees of Ryan Hedges.
