That's a remakable stat. How many shots do you reckon you'd need before you'd score once...?

West Ham v Fulham (20:00 GMT)

Since scoring with two consecutive efforts in January 2019 against Brighton, Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored with just three of his last 74 shots in the Premier League.

He hasn’t scored with any of his last 44 non-penalty shots with his right or left foot, since a goal against Huddersfield Town in December 2018.

    Table

Sheffield United’s return of just one point from their opening eight league games this season is the joint lowest points tally at this stage of a Premier League campaign, alongside Man City in 1995-96 (relegated), Southampton in 1998-99 (avoided relegation), Sheffield Wednesday in 1999-00 (relegated) and Sunderland in 2013-14 (avoided relegation).

Thiago Silva was excellent today, in much the same way he's been excellent for the last 15 years or so.

Josh: Seven games in and one point on the league table and barely looking capable of scoring more than once a game, it is safe to say that poor recruitment over the last transfer window has ensured that Sheffield United are experiencing the infamous “second season syndrome” so far.

I would say Thiago Silva is ageing like a fine wine, but he doesn't seem to be ageing at all. The Brazilian Benjamin Button.

Still one game to come of course - a Fulham win would leave the bottom three fairly adrift.

Another weekend of people moaning about Chelsea team selection, tactics, Lampard etc. Another comfortable win for Lampard's Chelsea. Love to see it.

    Chelsea 4-1 Sheffield United

Sheffield United win a corner and they nearly concede from it as Chelsea counter, Mason Mount hits a dipping shot which Aaron Ramsdale gets hands to, but only shovels it on to the roof of the net.

    Timo Werner (80 mins)

You know your luck is out when you concede a goal like that...

Max Lowe makes a tackle in midfield, the ball cannons off N'Golo Kante and in behind the Sheffield United defence, playing Timo Werner in on goal.

He's central again, doesn't even look up and smashes in a right-footed shot from the edge of the area. Clinical stuff!

And that's very nearly four! Hakim Ziyech, superb again today, clips the ball over the top and Timo Werner is free. Busted coverage.

He's in on goal, the ball bounces high and he lobs Aaron Ramsdale...but the ball drifts just wide. May have kissed the post on the way out.

    Thiago Silva (77 mins)

That really will put this game to bed this time! What a ball in, Hakim Ziyech thumping in the delivery from out wide, Thiago Silva loses his marker and glides the header in from in front of Aaron Ramsdale.

    Game over.
