The Villa have become one of the best sides on the counter. Grealish, Watkins and Barkley look potent

    Anmar

From the first minute Villa have been at it. Confident, comfortable. Look like side who knew they had the 3pts before kick off. Brilliant. Arsenal just weak, passive and just wanted a shower from the warm up.

Jack Grealish is fantastic on the ball, he's a joy to watch. His strength, Arsenal have just had two players on him trying to get he ball off him and he just held them off. He's been brilliant. And we've seen Ross Barkley with some fantastic skills as well.

The toxic element amongst Arsenal's fans are back I see. Getting rid of Arteta would solve nothing. Face facts, it's a big job.

Arteta , one week sliced bread the next week toast .

Need to rally around Arteta, two bad games doesn't make him a bad manager. Fickle football fans. He's trying to build something, he won't always get it right.

Another lesson for Arsenal today - Aston Villa have been exceptional. The movement from defence to attack was brilliant and the timing of the run for Ollie Watkins. Brilliant and a really good finish.

    A rout!

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez starts the move as he throws the ball out quickly to Jack Grealish.

Grealish carries it about 50 yards before sliding the ball into the path of Ollie Watkins - who times his run perfectly and slots it between Bernd Leno's legs.

Absolutely brilliant from Aston Villa, it really was. The switch across into the box for Ross Barkley to get on the end of and then hit on the volley. First-time volley across face of the goal and gives Arsenal little chance to defend against. Ollie Watkins was in the right place at the right time with a diving header, fantastic play from Villa.
