Chelsea have a spell of possesion and all 11 Spurs players are in their defensive third of the pitch holding their shape. Similar to the Manchester City game.

Chelsea have had nine crosses so far to Spurs' one. Reece James has another one cleared.

Both sides have had spells where they have been on top. It's Chelsea's turn now. Hakim Ziyech crosses into the box but Timo Werner can't control it at the back stick.

Joe Rodon has grown into the game after a few nervous passes.

He will do well having Eric Dier beside him.

I don't even know what to do with the claim Hakim Ziyech is another Jesus Navas.

Tattz: Based purely on this game so far, whatever the result today between these two excellent teams, I think they will both be right up there come the end of the season. This just feels like the opening round of a season long battle.

Amrul Choudhury: Ziyech freezing in a big game. He is just another Jesus Navas.

Just put a load of washing on (too late I know) and I think watching my clothes spin round is more enjoyable than this.

Two good teams here - but where are all the goals we were basically promised?

Ben Chilwell flies down the left for Chelsea and crosses. Joe Rodon cuts it out but sends the ball towards his own goal in the process. Hugo Lloris is able to catch luckily.

Tammy Abraham hasn't been involved much today. Hakim Ziyech curls in a cross which is too high for the England striker to control and too low to head and he just sort of shins it out of play.

Kurt Zouma is a big threat for Chelsea, he has scored a couple of important goals this season

I wonder how many corners Harry Kane has headed away this season. It feels like he does it in most Spurs games I watch.

He does well to clear this one, although Chelsea win the ball back and Hakim Ziyech shoots over.

I'm a neutral but surely as a defender you'd rather face Bergwijn than Gaz Bale? Or is this all part of José's master plan to drip-feed Bale into the team due to lost fitness over the years, so he's then in peak condition for a Spring title run-in?

Good defending by Kurt Zouma. Tanguy Ndombele's first-time pass almost reaches Harry Kane in the box but Zouma cuts it out. That would have probably been 1-0.

It feels like Spurs are just starting to get on top now. Son Heung-min and Harry Kane are involved in another dangerous looking move which fizzles out.

Great skill from Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to somehow skip between two Chelsea players and win a free-kick.

The free-kick is about 30 yards out. Harry Kane has a go but it's high and wide, a pretty poor effort. Chelsea only had a two-man wall.

Tammy Abraham must be frustrated there as Hakim Ziyech has done all the work but it's a sloppy pass out of play.
