Lille are no mugs so for Celtic to be 2-0 up shows how well they have played. They have looked far more comfortable with this shape.

Bain deserves his luck doesn't he? He comes for it but I think he shouts a bit late there and he's very lucky. This has been an incredible first half.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 43 mins

    Lille 0-2 Celtic

Scott Bain in the thick of the action again as he kicks away a curling free kick from Yazici that may have been creeping in at the near post.

He then comes to collect a routine cross and spills it to the feet of Sven Botman but the big Lille defender can only crash a rising shot against the crossbar from 18 yards.

Wow! What a huge night this is becoming for Scott Bain. He goes early so maybe with VAR it would have been retaken but if they had VAR it wouldn't have been a penalty in the first place

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2020

    Lille 0-2 Celtic

Jonathan David is still without a goal for Lille as Scott Bain makes a good diving save from a pretty wretched penalty.

  10. PENALTY TO LILLEpublished at 18:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2020

    Lille 0-2 Celtic

Shane Duffy doesn't need to commit, but he does... Jonathan David goes down. But was it outside the box? No VAR in the Europa League.

  11. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Lille 0-2 Celtic

Mohamed Elyounoussi is not far away from a hat-trick as Ryan Christie sprints down the right channel to deliver a teasing cross. It's just a bit too high for his team-mate at the back post and he can't keep his header down.

That was like slow motion, I thought the goalkeeper could have got closer to it. But incredible from Celtic, they've been brilliant in the last 20 minutes or so.

It's another fantastic goal for Mohamed Elyounoussi!

Jeremie Frimpong drills a cross in from the right and Elyounoussi gets in front of his man to steer a cute, first-time effort low into the corner, beyond the despairing fingertips of the goalie.

    Placed to perfection.

It's been coming. It was a bad mistake from Lille to give the ball away, but brilliant play from Elyounoussi. He takes it on and what a finish, the keeper didn't even move.

Ajeti's well offside but it just shows you, given the opportunity inside the box, he can finish well.
