James McK: "Stating the obvious, but we need a goalscorer. One point against Israel is very poor. Just look at their past run of games - very few wins."

Scotland defender Declan Gallagher tells BBC Sportsound: "It's obviously difficult losing any game of football, but we have to keep positive. It's been an historic week for the nation.
"We had a lot of chances and could have come away with the victory, maybe we didn't get the rub of the green we needed, but that's football.
"The boys are professional, we knew we had a job to do. In the two games we've played since Serbia you can see we are more positive, we're trying to get at teams away from home. Hopefully we can continue to do that but also get the results in the end as well."

More from Scotland manager Steve Clarke as he states how far his side have come in "a short space of time".
"We shouldn't forget how far we've come," says Clarke.
"But we also know how far we've got to go if we want to be regularly successful and regularly qualifying for tournaments.
"We have to go away from home and get good results."

Scotland manager Steve Clarke on Sky Sports: "We are all disappointed with the way the league has finished.
"No lack of endeavour and it's probably similar to Sunday - a little lack of quality in the final third of the pitch.
"If we want to keep improving, and we do, you see from the effort that can't be questioned.
"If we want to keep improving and getting better and taking the national team forward we have to be more clinical and make better choices in the final third of the pitch.
"But let's no go back to our negative ways around the international team. We have a lot to look forward to.
"I think it's an opportunity missed."

Scotland midfielder Callum McGregor on Sky Sports: "We certainly created enough chances to win the game. We were disappointed with the goal coming from our throw in.
"We have to look at where we have come from in a short space of time. We've done well and qualified for the Euros, but we need to put that to one side.
"That's the next step in our development to take our chances. It's a disappointing result but if you look at the performances you have to see it in a positive light."

Quote MessageScotland have to be better away from home. In campaigns you've got to win your home games and get something from the away games. It's a bit concerning.

It's easy to not feel too downhearted about the Nations League disappointment after the euphoria we all experienced last Thursday.
But we want to feel that delirium again, don't we?
Victory tonight would've given Scotland a back-up plan for World Cup qualification, and to not grasp that is a bit of a sore one.

That feels like a missed opportunity again for Steve Clarke's side as defeat in Israel means the Scots miss out on the chance of topping Group B2.
Just like Sunday, Scotland fall to another 1-0 defeat after having a host of chances come their way.
Israel posed a much bigger threat than what Slovakia did at the weekend, but Clarke will still be disappointed in his attack for not being ruthless enough.
