    Hearts and Alloa went head-to-head at Tynecastle on Tuesday, with the Jambos easing to a 3-0 victory.

    Hibs and Dundee were group opponents in this competition and met in the final fixture just 13 days ago, the hosts running out 4-1 winners on that occasion.

    And here we go again. A week on from their last meeting in the Premiership, it's now the turn of the League Cup for Motherwell and St Johnstone.

    St Johnstone are unbeaten over 90 minutes in nine games, while Motherwell enter the competition at the last 16 stage.

    It was a bit of a tense affair seven days ago. Will it be the same here? Hopefully not.
